Dubai-Lover July 26th, 2007, 07:35 PM hm, well, the render is crap
maybe it's good although admittedly it looks a bit strange
TowerPower July 27th, 2007, 09:23 PM Hey, a new tower. Forgot what that was like.
NEWUSER July 28th, 2007, 08:16 PM I like it! Looks nice.
dxb76 December 11th, 2007, 09:23 PM Hi as a friend of someone who works with the group I just wanted to clear that although this project is part of the Galadari group it is not under the GIO brand as GIO only develops luxury properties. Stratos falls under the GALESTATE brand of the group which was specifically created for low to medium end properties such as Stratos. I think it would be good if that was rectified. I was told that the land was bought by GIO at that time however was given to GALESTATE and transfer of the plot is in process. Thanks

So we shouldn't expect any high-end serviced apartments here? That's a shame, looks like those investors will have to turn to one of the other quatrillion towers that satisfy their investment requirements.
On a more serious note, a few questions and comments.
1. Is this commercial, residential, or mixed-use? (I can't access the link Julito posted, so if this was written there, I apologize)
2. This appears to be in the "Loser" section of BB, isolated from the majority of the development.
3. It's hard to judge the tower's looks based on that night render because of the lighting effects.
4. One thing that is clear, however, is that it has a long lost brother, located in the far, far away land of JLT.

Smokeey April 18th, 2008, 02:58 PM I like the design and the name (makes it sound very....grand). Agree about the location though - its in a bit of the sucky part of BB.
DR.SHREJMAN November 7th, 2008, 05:04 PM update?

The land is currently leased to the UN.
Same tennant rules apply to land.
I dont think the UN will want to relocate, it would probably be eaiser to relocate the unstarted projects
