Hillsborough County:
Commissioners meet to set the tentative tax rate for next year as well as likely spending cuts.
9 a.m. Tuesday, County Center, 601 E Kennedy Blvd., second floor.
Though decisions will be tweaked over the summer, this will give you a good idea of the county portion of your tax bill next year.
Dunedin:
City Manager Robert DiSpirito, on the job for six months, gets his first review by the City Commission.
6:30 p.m. Thursday, City Hall, 542 Main St.
DiSpirito is the city's top administrator, overseeing almost all city services and departments.
St. Petersburg:
The Environmental Development Commission considers an amended site plan for proposed downtown Westin.
2 p.m. Wednesday, City Hall, 175 5th Street N.
Neighborhoods opposed an earlier version because it was too big.
