Glupo mi je da iznosim informacije sa pm-a,ali sam prinudjen.Jedan od(nekada najaktivnijih forumasa iz Skoplja dewrob)mi je poslao sledece:Hteo sam samo da ti se zahvalim na tvom doprinosu na MK thredove i posebno na otvaranju threada za Skopje na Srpskom forumu.

Cilj ovog threada jeste da ne zatvori pricu o Skoplju i Makedoniji,jer ovde ima puno znacajnih projekata i realizacije i da steta sve to da bude baceno u zapecak.

I nadam se da u jednoj konstruktivnoj atmosferi pratimo sta se desava u ovom za sve nas,veoma bratskom gradu.

BRATE MILI! Od svih gradova bivse SFRJ samo nisam nikada svratio u Skopski thread :applause::applause::applause: Ovako izgleda pravi grad od 500+ k stanovnika u gradu a ne kada jedan grad posmatra stanovnistvo pola regije pa od nekud mu dodje 500k stanovnika :lol:, Skoplje i njegovi projekti su FANTASTICNI! A vidim da grad izgleda kao da ima 5 puta vise stanovnika od stvarnog broja! BRAVO!

U Skoplju se ne govori srpski jezik tako da ova tema moze da bude shvacena na razne nacine ukljucujuci da je napravljena sa ciljem provokacije. Zato je spajam sa temom na evroforumu.

Makedonski forum je zatvoren od strane administracije jer nedeljama nije bilo postova na temu kojom se forum bavi, a od strane samih Makedonaca nije bilo postova mesecima osim par reklama za neki forum na koji su se izdvojili jer su ovde stalno ulazili u konflikte sa Grcima i Bugarima a tamo su sami. Bilo kako bilo, ovo je staro-novo mesto za temu o Skoplju (kada su otvarani podforumi, otvoren je i taj, krajnje optimisticno, medjutim nije se pokazao uspesno).

Kakve provokacije, ljudi su nam zahvalni.

Ljudi ili ljud? Sutra ce doci neko i reci da je Skoplje stavljeno tu u cilju sirenja velikosrpske propagande i sl. Sutra mozemo da otvorimo i malo nesto o Rijeci pa o Vukovaru pa nece proci dugo pre nego sto budemo imalo Ogulin konstrakshn apdejt. Cinjenice su jednostavne, Skoplje nije grad u kom se govori srpski jezik i zato nije u forumu srpskog jezika. Takodje ovo je internacionalni deo foruma, sa vecim kapacitetom od srpskog foruma tako da niko od Makedonaca ne moze da zali za mestom u srpskom forumu u odnosu na ovo, mogu samo da zale za zatvorenim makedonskim forumumom, ali...

Administracija je odlucila da zatvori "Makedonski forum" (koji sam inace ja licno inicirao i pregovarao oko naziva foruma, otvarao prve teme kako bih olaksao prve dane i sl.) jer na njemu niko nije postovao (bas onako kako sam objasnio u prethodnom postu). I sad slucajno dan posle toga odjednom zavladalo ogromno interesovanje za gradilista u Skoplju? Nije nego. Da je bilo interesovanja, u forumu koji je radio do pre neki dan ne bi vladala promaja.

Ovaj predlog je prihvacen gotovo jednoglasno, jedino je drugi bugarski moderator predlozio polu u sali da se makedonski forum tamo prebaci ali to nije nesto posebno ni razmatrano (iz istog razloga - moglo bi biti shvaceno pogresno).

Singidunum pogresio si.99% Makedonaca sa Build.Mk mi se zahvalilo sto sam otvorio temu na srpskom podforumu,gde bi bila pracena i sa njihove strane i pomogla njenom kvalitativnom razvoju.Ovako tema se ponovo stavlja u zapecak,i za Skoplje sto se tice Sky-a sledi mrak.Mogao si lepo da me iskontaktiras na PM i da se dogovorimo,a ne ovako na precac da donosis odluke.
Steta sto smo sami sebi najveci neprijatelji i nece biti cudo jednog dana da srpski podforum zavrsi kao i makedonski.
Ovaj thread nije bio napravljen da vredja bilo koga,vec samo da predstavi gradnju u tom susednom gradu gde se itekako govori srpski,a sa Makedoncima sa Build.Mk sam komunicirao na srpskom jeziku,tako da im nece biti tesko pracenje njihovog thread-a na nasem forumu.
Nema razloga da se ovaj thread vrati kakav je bio na nasem forumu.

Nema logicnog objasnjenja,ali ima tendecioznog,demagoskog objasnjenja utemeljenih na licnom sukobu "vrha" naseg foruma!

Bio sam desetak puta u Skopju i svaki put kad sam dole vidim veliki napredak. Grad je i ociscen dosta jer je prije 5 godina bio bas prljav i stekao sam bio los utisak o njemu ali sad je sve pod spagu i to mi se svidja.

It's terrible. Build a nice modern building or a real neoclassical building following all the rules ( proportions, materials...) and not that postmodernist crap.

I dont agree... I appreciate the courage to experiment and mix different architectural styles, when it gets done right. And in this case I think the result looks good. But I agree that in many cases, its easy for such projects to look "kitschy"...

The stadium looks good but... you can only see the main stand... is that the only one built?
Because I remember they had "issues" due to a building being too close to it, after all, this being the Balkans and its great uncorrupted bureaucracies.

wow Macedonia!!!!!! many great new buildings and you are thriving as a nation even though some idiots try to block your progress...when they themselves are bankrupt. You are making great progress even not being part of the EU. I have been to Mcedonia 6 times in as many years and its rare to find such a friendly and virtually crime free country as yourselves! It would be nice to see more tall buildings planned and to see some in other towns/cities eg Strumica is fast changing and developing. Give it 5 more years at this rate and your neighbours will be even more jealous!!!! Keep up the good spirit and work Republic of Macedonia...see you again in July 2010!!! Just one thing please have direct flights soon from UK and build a new Airport in Skopje would be great!

hi guys, does anyone have any pictures/plans to show on here of the planned construction/modernisation of Skopje and Ochrid airports that the Turkish are doing starting in May? Good to see something is happening as the country moves forward their aiports need this!!!

Red old terminal, blue new terminal and expanding the runway for 500m, by that the length of the runway will be almost 3km. The new terminal will replace today's military part of the airport.

TAV started the concession on 1 March, by May they should start the reconstruction, for Skopje 20 months, and Ohrid 12 months. They set their managers, and analyze the situation with the airline companies, the transport from and to Skopje etc....

In future there are plans for rail connection with Skopje (LRT- maybe).

wow fossil-MK thank you very much for this latest posting and love the aiport plan!!!! wish it was nearly complete now. I really hope they get to have direct flights to/from UK especially if those business men in Macedonia launch an airline. Compitition is healthy. At the moment flights to Skopje are expensive compared to Thessaloniki so I have to fly there ..but I would rasther be supporting Republic of Macedonia and fly to Skopje!!! I hear the aiport is busier now than ever before so the time is ripe for this good investment. L
Great new buildings. Any plans for new tall ones in the pipeline?
I will be visiting Skopje in July/August and can't wait to see the changes.

About the flights, because it is operating with the airport now, TAV is looking for low-budget companies which will fly to and from SKP. Also there are plans to get a company for which SKP will be the base (home), something like national air-transport, but foreign. We had the MAT, but now we don't.
For tall ones, there is an auction of country property, for building 2 or 3 at least 33-floors buildings, at most 500m, in the Municipality of Aerodrom.

Economic developments were also a subject of discussion at Gruevski's meeting with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Gruevski told Erdogan that a Turkish company would invest EUR 100-150 million in construction of several skyscrapers in Macedonia's capital Skopje.

Yeah there will be skyscrapers but I haven't got any special news I just read it out.

Thankf for the latest posting of the latest construction pics in Skopje!!!! It is an exciting times for the Macedonian people and you are the only country in Europe to have the highest minimum wage rises. DO yo ureally think you need to be part of the EU cause it looks like you are doing very well compared to the countries that are part of the EU....... I will be visiting Strumica, Ohrid and Skopje end July and and August so my camera will be working over time at big projects to post on here. Please keep uploading more photos of building projects. The plans are 2 August for the South Stand, and 17 November for the East and West stands...... it should be finished by then..... but just the stands......

the facade, the field, the athletics track, the parking garage, and the bridges which will connect the stadium to the other side of Vardar and the garage will not be finished till 2013

Skopje is developing fast. There are many projects under construction especially the project Skopje 2014. Tall buildings in the city center are just the current, no new projects except the project with the three high towers in the suburb of Aerodrom in front of boulevard Srbija.

hello guys. I am back from Macedonia and I have some great photos of developments in Skopje and some of Strumica. Macedonia really is coming on nicely. Can we make a seperate thread for Strumica? What I was also pleased to see about Strumia is that they are repainting and new facades on buildings along main streets of old buildings making the town look fresh and developing well. Some nice big projects going on in both places I visited. Bitola unfortunately is lacking soul and has no feeling of moving ahead. Ohrid as usual....wonderful and busy. Come on Macedonia hurry up and get your new airports built and easier access flights from UK please!!!!!! I love your Country!!!!!!!!!

every post window has a special button for inserting the picture [Insert Image], just look carefully above the text space.

When clicking on that button, another window will appear where you can paste the address of your picture you uploaded via special sites for uploading pictures (some of them are tinypic.com, imageshack.us, and photobucket.com)

Some sites already have a code specially for forums and message boards, while others dont, and in that case you have to go trough steps described above ;)

Yes I wish the pictures I posted were larger. I have friends in Strumica and so over the last 7 yrs I have been visiting your great country!!!!! I get really excited to see it progresing so well and having a stable economy. Macedonians know how to relax but also work hard. its a gem of a country so dont let yourselves be bullied or made to think you rely on other when in fact you are doing fine with or without bigger countries help. There are very few countries on this planet that can boast having such low crime levels as in Macedonia. Macedonia just needs to step up the tourist facilities...eg traditional turkish baths, upgrade the airports which they now doing, less litter in places and promote itself more in the west.

hello Fossil-MK of course you can use the photos, I like people to see Macedonia for what it is and how it is progressing. Was a new camera I bought and first time to use it on holiday so am pleased with it. Just wish someone had renders of planned tall buildings in the pipeline for Skopje as I read there were plans for some tall buildings.

I reckon you're asking about the three buildings with at least 33fl each that are supposed to be built by the turkish company Cevahir. Nothing new there since the day they purchased the land. But it wasn't long ago and the deadlines set by the authorities are very relaxed, so it's no surprise.

yes... i think that 4-5 months past... so they have 5-4 months to get the construction (building) permit to start the construction works... the deadline is 9 months after the tender and the buying of the place.... but for end result they have 6 years... so... we will see.... if they don't get the permit the place will be given back to the country.... also there are penalties but those are for the construction period....

hello guys all quiet on the home front...no new news/pics of development projects in and around Macedonia??? Im too impatient to hear about the tall buildings!!!!!!
