Yacht StarShip expands to Clearwater

Visitors to Clearwater Beach have a new upscale dining option.
Yacht StarShip II is the newest dining yacht from Yacht StarShip, a Tampa-based dinner cruise company. Yacht StarShip II offers dinner and brunch cruises and is available for private group charters, as well as weddings, banquets, corporate events and other special occasions.
The ship was christened June 11 in Clearwater.
The 100-plus foot yacht features a dining salon with seating for nearly 150, dance floor, cocktail lounge and bar on the second deck, an open-air third deck and a luxury bridal changing suite.
Yacht StarShip II was formerly the Excalibur, a popular fine-dining yacht in New York City docked at the World Trade Center Marina from 1995 to 2001.
Yacht StarShip began operations in Tampa in November 2001 and now has three ships in its fleet.
