Okay, so since I'm doing my Senior Project on Architecture, I was hoping to talk to a architect and getting their imput on the field and all that. But I don't know where to find one. I was thinking maybe to go Element's site and see what I can do there, but that sounds too risky. Then I was thinking to going to the USF campus and taling to the architecture professor there. But I'm still not sure what to do.

What is the best way to do this?

If you are looking for advice from pros then look no further then The Pro Section Forum on SSC (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=324). The people there may not answer all of your questions, but it might be a good place to start. :)

Good luck!

^Definitely.

You could also call the local AIA chapter...

Call Gus Paras. He loves students. The AIA in general is very, very willing to work with students. I start a sort of AIA club for students in the state's one-and-only Architecture magnet program when I was in HS and worked with Gus and the guys in the AIA often. Great, great people.

^Also why I know the AIA will help. I helped start the AIAS chapter at HCC some years ago. I think successive students let it fizzle though.

Oh and call Tampa's architect... Ten bucks says he'll talk to you, since he teaches occasionally...

Mr James Jackson... Short guy, glasses, funny, very nice.

If nothing else, I can put you in touch with my buddy Chris who is an architect out in Denver. Currently, working on a new hospital in LoDo.

^Do that. Hospital design is fascinating. And nooobody else will be talking about it. Trust me on this.

If you would like Chris's contact info, shoot me a PM. He graduated from UC Denver with a masters in architecture just a few years ago now and he is always willing to help out, other's with an active interest in the field. The hospital he is working on, is actually pretty interesting how it fits into the market, sort of reminds me of some of the locations, Florida Hospital has done locally to Florida.

Well, the only problem is, is that I need to shadow someone for 15 hours. All this sounds awesome, but if you are willing to buy me an airplane ticket, hotel room, and all that, it won't work, but thanks for the help.

Maxim and Jasonhouse, I'll try both tomorrow and see if that is possible, thanks!

I just emailed Urban Studio Architects, Mickey Jacobs, and hopefully I can get a reply saying he is willing to help me out. And with their help w/ Mercury Advisors, that will be even more outstanding.

*fingers crossed*
