It's simply gorgeous...

I'm very thrilled about what's going on in Astana, such a vibrant city with so many new things being built.

Congratulations!!!

LOL! I know it's all very premature at this point, but I was trying to prove exactly the same point over in KZ forum.

The complex planned right on a riverfront, so such placement indeed makes a lot of sense.

Impressive heights and amount of towers, but the designs are VERY uninspired if you ask me. They could've been in any city in the world, no identity of their own. Aren't there local architectural offices that could've come up with seven different, original towers?

Bazis is a local company. I believe they did the design part too.

Then they have no originality whatsoever. With such a unique project, you would've expected more.

Well, would you like me to agree with you? I absolutely could, although Bazis has done projects internationally, in Kiev, Riga, Toronto, and it never disappointed. But we will just have to see how it goes later in the year, because judging by their previous experience, I'm sure they will pull it off!

Very nice! The shapes were benchmarked from other skyscrapers around the world, even though, I like how they look together

I fail to see how the shape of your towers is unique.

The complex is nice and most of the towers(the ones wich are not a copy of other ones) have a pretty shape. However, they could redesign the " Borat Freedom Tower" to make the flagship building look more unique and original.

Tacky Freedom Tower rip-off!
One of those would have been ok.
But 7 of them in a row is just ridiculous.

Come on man.
Look at the base where all the towers are standing on.
They seem to connect all of the buildings, but it doesn't look integrated.
It's just not thought through.
The cladding reminds me of the background of the box of videocassettes you had in the 80's.
I'm sorry but it seems like architects in Astana just copy other design and build a cheesy clone.
