Great design. But where in Amsterdam will it be located? I suppose in the Zuid district near the Bijlmer station and the Amsterdam Arena? Because as far as I know the WTC area has a height restriction of 105 m due to the proximity of the Schiphol airport.

If I understand it correctly it will be in the northwestern part of the city, near Sloterdijk.

^The 3 crosses are symbolic for Amsterdam. These crosses can be found everywhere in the city, especially on the poles allong the streets. They are called 'Amsterdammertjes'. ;)

This is not a 'VISION', it is a serious study and there are already negotiations with big firms for the office space. The reason it will start no sooner than 2012 is that a lot of the infrastructure has to be changed.

No this is not just a vision, AM is the developer. According to an inside source on this forum there is possibly already a renter, which name he was not allowed to mention.

Maybe that has something to do with that around that time the train and bus station are refurbished and a new road is finished. Or in 2012 construction is finished, that would be better....

Well, we just have to wait. It looks really nice. And I didn't expected that Amsterdam would have 200m+ before Rotterdam. But they did it! And it looks so damn nice!:banana:

^ That's wishful thinking - it's a long way until 2012. There could be 3 200m towers in Rotterdam and two other 200m towers in Amsterdam before 2012! Have to agree on the design though :)
