kita mo fall .dami pweding ipagmalaki sa syudad nyo ,mas maunlad pa nga yan dasma kaysa sa ibang syudad sa norte.....dami na ring bangko .

Sa Imus ang mga subdivision ay nasasakupan ng mga barangays kaya ang mga address nila nasa pangalan ng barangay..

Kahit Konti lang ang barangay ng Dasma, Hitik naman ito sa subdivision ngunit di talaga mapagkakaila nga 70 percent ng lupain ng dasma ay hindi pa na-de develop.:cheers::cheers:

kaya pala ang bacoor parang muntinlupa at las pinas crowde na ang mga bahay

More than 15 subdivision ang magkakasya sa isang barangay dito saamin, at hindi pa puno ang bawat barangay dito ng villages.

Parang Ganon na nga, Kaya karamihan sa mga pabahay after 5 years ay ang mismong bumili ang nag-rerenovate, kaya pansinin sa mga duplex na pabahay ay iba-iba na ang hitsura na dati naman pare parehas ang hitsura.

yung Sunny Crest Village part ng Salitran II hindi ng Burol. May isa pang bago nasa gitna ng Ivory and Sunny Crest nalimutan ko yung name

Somethimes ko na rin nakita iyan noong mag-short cut kami, doon hindi ko rin nkit ang name ng subdivision na iyon pero sa palagay ko hindi kalakihan itong subdivision..

In over all 114 subdivision meron ang Dasma na alam ko, pwera pa ang 130 na ayon sa mismong dami ng subdivision sa talaan ng cityhall, at maliban pa doon sa kada Phase at sa kasalukuyang ginagawa ngayon..:cheers::cheers:

50 percent sa mga subdivision na iyan ay hindi malaki, o sa madaling salita, Compound size lamang pero karamihan ng Ibang village dito ay sikat dito sa cavite ay makikita rito.:)

Magandang hapon Cavite!, matanong ko lang sa nyo kung san ba sa cavite or sa dasma pwede amg apply ng trabaho na pang I.T. baka may alam kayo, nalalayuan na kasi ako mag work dito sa manila e gusto sa dasma na lang. please help sa may mga alam saka kung san pwede mag walk in sa dasma thanks

Maraming nagsasabi na SM supercenter Salitran ang itatayong mall sa mismong kanto, ngunit may nagssabi rin na Savemore salitran lang.

Sa tingin ko Savemore lang talaga ang SM Salitran. parang maliit naman ginagawang construction dyan unlike nung ginawa ang SM Molino, Dasma, etc

Sana SM hypermarket Salitran na lang gawin instead of SM Savemore Salitran para mas malaki ng unti.

Kadiwa Market will be temporarily transferred starting tomorrow along half of the Mangubat Ave. (from Brgy. Burol to La Salle).

Rumor (nabasa ko lang sa FB): SM Savemore will be constructed in the present site of the Kadiwa market.

Andami namang savemore kung nagkataon.

Last november pa nagbigay ng utos si Mayor at congressman ukol diyan, kay hindi tinayo ang tsagge sa mangubat dahil para masimulan ng maaga ang pagkukumpuni ng TEMPORARY market at last dec 26 iyon nasimulan...

Medyo hindi ako naniniwala sa sinabi mo na by tomorrow malilipat na ang half of market sa magubat dahil kahapon ko lang nakita na naglalagay palang sila ng steel roof sa unang 20 meters at sa kabuuan na ginawa nila ay 120 meters palang ang nagagawa kasama na ang pagtatayo ng steel foundation.:)

Kung SM salitran ang ilalagay na mall doon, sana SM hypermarket nalang ang gawin nila katulad ng sinabi ni @Lee Hunter para mas malaki, dahil sa Nakikita ko na masyadong malaki ang lupa na iyon para lamang tayuan ng savemore.:cheers:

Take note that 2009 was the year Dasma became a city. So in other words, maliit pa lang ang IRA share niya(municipality level). Eh ngayon kaya, na city na ang Dasma, gaano na kalaki ang total income?

Of course inaasahan ko rin na tumaas ang local income. Gusto ko maging self-supporting ang Dasma-- ayokong maging IRA-dependent tayo.

Mag-I-Inquire ako sa NHA kung magkano talaga ang presyuhan ng mga residential lots dito sa Area..

Iniisip ko nga na magkaiba ang prize ng lot dito sa area kaysa sa ibang barangay, , dito kasi sa area malalaKi ang mga lots na ang standard size is 100-160 square meters.. unlike sa mga villages na may maximum 40-90 Square meters..:cheers:

nov 26,2009 official na naging city ang dasmarinas kaya sa tingin ko yang 744,791,576 na yan as municipality pa lang. maliit pa IRA nyan. Malamang last 2010 1M na total income dahil na rin sa malaking IRA

Mahirap hanapin itong mga file ng subdivision ng cavite, pero for sure ang subdivision capital ng cavite is Imus or bacoor..

titingin rin ako ng Cavite map para mai-post ang over all subdivision dito sa cavite.:D

hehee.. nagpakahirap ka pa siguro magisip ng mga subd ng cavite no?! sana humingi ka ng kopya sa BIR sa munisipyo o cityhall for sure complete sila pati yung mga bubuksang bago.. naisama mo ba ang camella dasmarinas?!

2. Then from filinvest na area, diresto kayo sa likuran na side ng Ayala Town Center gilid ng Ayala Alabang hanggang makapasok kayo ng Daang Hari Road.

3. Sa Daang Hari Road, diretso lang kayo hanggang makarating ng Aguinaldo Highway, eto ung pangalawang busy na daan since 'yong unang macross n'yo na busy na daan ay ang Molino Road.
3.1 Malalaman mong nasa crossing na kayo ng Molino road dahil mi SM
Supercenter Molino na makikita mo sa Left na side na di kalayuan sa

To clarify, 'yong market na sinasabi mo ay Public Market yan sa Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite. Matrapik dyan na area kaya hindi suggested na dumaan sa area na yan. 'Yong island na sinasabi mo din ay 'yon 'yong tinatawag na Island Cove resort ng mga Remulla (nasa item 7 ng pinost ko). It's on the right side of the road after passing overhead the new coastal road extension na di pa sa ngayon functional. Along centennial, on-going ang road widening na sa ngayon ay malapit or nasa area na ng EPZA. Malaman mong malapit ka na sa gate 4 ng EPZA kasi mi on-going construction on a very wide area for another factory (I think) na nasa unahan na parte ng EPZA. Sa malayo pa lang, makikita mo na rin ang mga buildings ng mga factories ng EPZA kaya madali mong ma-identify na iyon na ang processing zone ng EPZA.

Healthy signs of unity seen in Cavite for 2011

CAVITE, Philippines – Cavite Governor Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla Jr. and his elder brother, House Deputy Speaker and 7th District (Cavite) Representative Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla have renewed their call for unity on the first working day of 2011 in a bid to push further the province’s development during the year.

During the Monday flag-raising ceremony at the Capitol in Trece Martires City, Remulla Jr. called on all political leaders and their constituents to unite and work for the best “now that the six months honeymoon period is over.”

His congressman-brother made calls for unity in gatherings that he attended during Christmas and the New Year. He said that unity is a must as it enhances peace, development and progress in any area.

The two siblings are sons of Juanito R. Remulla who was governor of Cavite for 14 years. During his tenure, the Remulla patriarch also said that unity and performance are the keys to province's progress.

In a brief statement during the first flag-raising ceremony of the year, Remulla Jr. called on the provincial department heads, employees and others concerned to accomplish in terms of performance and services.

The governor also called the political groups, whether administration or opposition, to join hands and work on the programs and projects set for the province and their constituents.

In an unprecedented move, Trece Martires City Mayor Melandres G. de Sagun and the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) members led by his brother Meldon de Sagun, and other city officials have supported the unity call of the Remullas.

Trece Martires, a fourth-class city, is the site of the province’s Capitol.

Joanne Nazareno-Loyola, Provincial Information and Community Affairs Department (PICAD) head, said that the young De Saguns and the city officials went to the flag-raising ceremony last Monday to show their support to the governor.

The De Sagun siblings are sons of long-time Trece Martires City Mayor Melencio de Sagun, a political opponent of Remulla Jr.

“Unity and performance are always in the mind of the governor (Remulla Jr.). His wishes are peace, development and progress for Cavite,” said Loyola.

Remulla and the Sangguniang Panglalawigan (Provincial Board) approved last December a budget of P2,101,846, 272 for the 2011 operational and service expenses of the Capitol for the community and the people.

Loyola said that one of the projects of the administration is the construction of the Finance building at the Capitol compound which is expected to be finished in October 2011.

CAVITE, Philippines – Cavite is undoubtedly the most populated area in the country with the more than 3.3 million people now living in the province’s four cities and 19 towns, the Provincial Population Office said over the weekend.

This developed as Senior Supt. Danilo L. Maligalig, police provincial director, said that the populous Cavite was second in terms of peace and order among the five provinces of Region 4-A or Calabarzon (Cavite,-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon) in 2010.

In a year-end report to Chief Superintendent Samuel D. Pagdilao, Police Regional 4-A director, Maligalig said that Cavite’s crime volume has remarkably decreased by 47.63 percent in 2010, based on comparative records and statistics in the last two years.

Cavite is known as a historical and industrial province and tourist destination in the country. It is a first-class province with 829 barangays (villages) and seven lowland and upland districts.

Filipina V. Samson, provincial population officer, said that based on latest records Cavite’s population is now more than 3,306,000 and “it continues to increase tremendously as years go by” with the estimated annual growth rate of 5.45 percent.

Samson said that unless something is done, the province’s population is expected to rapidly double in the next decade.

The veteran population officer said that based on statistics, Cavite’s population increased by 200,000 annually or "even more."

Samson, citing records, claimed that Dasmariñas City (4th district) is the most populated area of the province, followed by Imus (3rd district), Bacoor (2nd district) and the first district which comprises Cavite City, Noveleta, Kawit and Rosario towns.

The least populated is 7th district which is composed of Magallanes, Aguinaldo, Tagaytay City, Maragondon, Alfonso, Mendez-Nuñez. Indang, Naic and Ternate, it was learned.

just a correction... kung sa junction ng trece martirez, sa mi jollibee tanza, lampas ka na ng CEPZ. actually, papunta sa junction na yan, madaanan mo na ang likuran na side ng CEPZ or ung gate 3 at gate 4 ng EPZA na nasa right na side ng daan.

2. Then from filinvest na area, diresto kayo sa likuran na side ng Ayala Town Center gilid ng Ayala Alabang hanggang makapasok kayo ng Daang Hari Road.

3. Sa Daang Hari Road, diretso lang kayo hanggang makarating ng Aguinaldo Highway, eto ung pangalawang busy na daan since 'yong unang macross n'yo na busy na daan ay ang Molino Road.
3.1 Malalaman mong nasa crossing na kayo ng Molino road dahil mi SM
Supercenter Molino na makikita mo sa Left na side na di kalayuan sa

I think you were referring to open canal na daan. what I'm referring to ay 'yong dadaan sa residential area sa malagasang na lulusot sa centenial road. that is actually the shortest way galing daang hari to EPZA. at maraming kanto kang lilikuan aside from 'yong mga kanto na in between rice fields.

nung nagsimula humina ang movie industry halos lahat ng bagong SM ay apat na lang ang sinehan ang nilalagay. Worst pa nga yung SM Taytay na mas malaki ang gross floor area sa SM Dasmarinas pero 3 lang sinehan.

Malaki pa nga yung seating capacity ng sinehan ng SM Dasmarinas compared to other SM malls with only 4 theaters also.

Kung wala siguro Rob Dasmarinas na katapat baka 8 cinema din nilagay ng SM sa Dasma kagaya ng sa Bacoor.

Sa mga bagong gawa na SM ang marami lang sinehan ay
Marikina (8cinemas), San Lazaro (6cinemas) at Moa(9 ata including IMAX)

SM starting new retail center format

MANILA, Philippines—Tycoon Henry Sy’s SM Prime Holdings Inc. is pilot-testing in Dasmariñas, Cavite, a new shopping center format that seeks to redevelop an existing rundown public market owned by the local government into a pioneering formal retail complex with room for the public vendors.

SM Prime Holdings Inc. executive vice president and chief finance officer Jeffrey Lim told reporters that his company would spend at least P500 million for this pilot project, which would be among the seven new local shopping centers that the group would open this year.

The group is planning a P20-billion fresh capital outlay for this year, mostly for the construction of malls.

The seven new shopping malls this year will make available 400,000 square meters of additional retail space under the vast SM mall empire. This still pales in comparison with the gross leasable space created in 2006 when the company opened five malls, including Mall of Asia, which accounted for 406,961 square meters.

Lim said most of the new mall openings this year would be smaller than the usual SM shopping centers. Aside from the pilot project in Dasmariñas, Cavite, SM Prime is set to open malls in Masinag, Antipolo; San Fernando, Pampanga; Apalit, Pampanga; Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City; La Consolacion, Cebu; and BF Sucat, Parañaque.

While the malls to be opened this year are smaller than most of SM’s existing malls, they signify SM Prime’s increasing penetration into new markets. The move may also pave the way for more partnerships with local government units (LGUs) on sprucing up public markets into more robust retail centers.

For the Dasmariñas public market project, SM Prime has started construction of the retail center based on a long-term lease contract with the LGU.

SM Prime obtained a concession to operate the center for 25 years, renewable for another 25 years. It will pay the local government unit rental for the use of the property.

The Dasmariñas shopping area will have a gross leasable space of 30,000 sqm. It will be ready for opening by the fourth quarter of this year, Lim said.

He said there would be a “semi basement” with wet and dry sections for vendors. The ground floor will house a hypermarket with some food shops. The second floor will be for third-party tenants and the top floor will be for parking.—Doris C. Dumlao

THE Philippines’ largest retailer will launch a record number of shopping malls this year, including a joint venture with a local government that will house a public market. Jeffrey Lim, SM Prime Holdings Inc. executive vice president and chief finance officer, told reporters that the mall developer would roll out six new malls in Masinag, Antipolo; San Fernando and Apalit in Pampanga; Consolacion, Cebu; Sucat, Paranaque; and Dasmarinas, Cavite.

The new malls will translate to about 400,000 square meters of gross leasable space.

Lim said the six mall openings this year will be a record in terms of number. Its biggest launch in terms of gross leasable area was in 2006 when it opened Mall of Asia in Pasay City, its largest in the country.

SM Prime has also started the construction of a shopping center in General Santos City and its second mall in Davao, all set to begin commercial operations in 2012.

For its mall in Dasmarinas, SM Prime has entered into a partnership with the local government, allowing the company to lease a two-hectare property for its mall, which will have a public market in the basement.

“We pay them [local government] rental of the property. On top of that, in a way, we can improve the service and quality and we will be able to maintain the area,” said Lim, adding that it offered the local government an unsolicited proposal for this particular venture.

SM Prime will establish a hypermarket and some food stands in the ground floor and will lease the second floor to third party tenants. The top floor will be a parking area.

The company has yet to decide on a name for this particular venture, which is expected to open in the fourth quarter of the year.

The success of the P500-million Dasmarinas mall will determine if SM Prime will pursue more public market partnership projects with local governments in the future.

“Public markets are usually rundown now. Those local governments have the funds to redevelop [the market] but they have other priorities in providing basic services to the people,” Lim said.

This year, SM Prime will spend P20.1 billion, of which P9 billion will be allocated for the construction of its malls in Chongqing and Zibo and payment of the land in Tianjin. The remaining P11 billion will be set aside for the development of its new malls.

Last year, SM Prime opened five malls in Tarlac, Novaliches, Calamba and San Pablo in Laguna, and its fourth mall in mainland China, which is located in the city of Suzhou.

SM Prime’s nine-month net income grew 11 percent to P5.6 billion from P5.1 billion in the same period last year on the back of new mall openings and same-store rental growth.

Its shares lost P0.02 to close at P11.30 each on Friday.

out of the question pa pala ang puregold.. by then, tingin nyo ilalagay yun sa paliparan? considering merong GMA puregold.. sana dun na lang sa tapat ng arcontica ilagay ang puregold.. para ma remodel naman yung coliseum dun diba.. or if not pwede i-convert yung lot dun into Dasmarinas Basketball Gym para nasa isang area lang ang sabungan at gym.

ah okay savemore na pala yung sa salitran.. ano ba ang pagkakaiba ng savemore sa hypermarket?

try ko lang idifferentiate and dalawa, i'm not sure kung ganun pa rin ang makikita sa ngayon. ang savemore, normal na supermarket lang s'ya pero ang hypermarket, aside sa normal na paninda sa supermarket, mi mga kasamang pang paninda na makikita sa dept store like shoes and apparels. and that occupies about 50% of the floor area.

SM Prime allots P20b, to open 8 malls this year

SM Prime Holdings Inc., the country’s shopping mall operator and developer, plans to spend P20.1 billion and open eight new malls this year.

SM Prime chief finance officer Jeffrey Lim said the eight malls are in General Santos City; Masinag, Antipolo City; Dasmariñas, Cavite; San Fernando, Pampanga; Davao City; Olongapo; Consolacion, Cebu; and Novaliches.

SM Prime is also set to open SM Chongquing and SM Suzhuo in China this year.

Lim said the eight new malls would add another 400,000 square meters of gross leasable area for SM Prime.

Lim said SM Prime would have the most number of store openings this year but not the most in terms of area.

SM Prime in 2006 opened Mall of Asia in Pasay City, which has a leasable area of 409,000 sq.m.

SM Prime is trying out a new concept that will incorporate the public market into the shopping mall. SM Prime has chosen the soon-to-open SM Dasmariñas, Cavite for the pilot test.

SM Prime plans to build a three-level shopping mall and allot the basement for the public market vendors.

The first level will be reserved for a supermarket while the second level will be set aside for commercial tenants and restaurants. The third floor will serve as parking area.

SM Prime has teamed with the local government units in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

SM Prime posted a consolidated net income of P1.9 billion in the third quarter of 2010, up 12 percent from P1.7 billion year-on-year.

Consolidated revenues grew 14 percent to P5.7 billion from P5 billion on year.

SM Prime registered a net income of P5.6 billion in the first nine months of 2009, up 11 percent from P5.1 billion.

Revenues in the first nine months of this year reached P17 billion, up 17 percent on year.

SM Prime’s consolidated rental revenues grew 13 percent to P14.3 billion, contributing 84 percent to the total in the nine-month period. The increase came from both new space and same store rental growth of 6 percent.

SM Prime Holdings, Inc., the country’s largest mall developer, will start commercial operations of seven new malls this year, adding 400,000 square meters (sq. m.) of commercial area for lease.

THE soon-to-be-opened Dasmariñas mall will have a basement for wet market stalls below an SM Hypermarket and food shops.

The mall developer of retail and banking tycoon Henry Sy, Sr. will also pilot test its “public market-to-mall” concept, a partnering with local governments.

This year will see the highest number of new malls opened to the public by the SM group, an executive said late last week.

“We will open seven or eight smaller malls this year,” Jeffrey C. Lim, SM Prime executive vice-president and chief finance officer, told reporters.

The list includes SM Masinag in Antipolo, SM San Fernando in La Union, SM Dasmariñas in Cavite, SM Apalit in Pampanga, SM Commonwealth in Quezon City, SM La Consolacion in Cebu, and SM BF-Sucat in Parañaque.

SM Prime will finance projects through P20 billion in capital allotted this year. The amount has already been secured through debt and internal funding.

“[The Dasmariñas branch] will be a pilot project for us. We are converting a public market into a formal retail mall,” Mr. Lim said.

SM Prime is currently building a mall on a two-hectare lot it had leased from the local government for 25 years.

The lease may be extended for another 25 years.

“We will have a semi-basement for wet and dry markets and the ground floor will be the Hypermarket with some food shops,” Mr. Lim said. The third floor will be for third-party tenants and the fourth floor will be for parking spaces.

Under the agreement, SM Prime cannot increase rental rates for public market tenants beyond the fees approved by the local government.

Mr. Lim said the plan to convert public markets into malls in cooperation with local governments will depend on the success of the pilot test and the availability of lots.

The 30,000-sq.-m. SM Dasmariñas is expected to cost P500 million, half of the benchmark P1 billion for each SM mall.

Meanwhile, some of the new malls like SM Apalit will have 20,000 to 30,000 sq. m. of gross leasable area.

Last year, SM Prime started commercial operations of SM Calamba and San Pablo in Laguna, SM Novaliches in Quezon City and SM Tarlac. This increased SM malls in the Philippines to 40, with an estimated gross floor area of 4.8 million sq. m.

The mall developer has started the construction of SM Davao and the 80,000-sq.-m. SM General Santos in South Cotabato, which will be opened next year.

New malls will help the company hike profits by a double-digit rate this year, Mr. Lim said.

Shares in SM Prime, whose profits rose by 11% to P5.6 billion in the nine months that ended in September last year, dropped by P0.02 to P11.30 each on Friday. -- Neil Jerome C. Morales

MANILA, Philippines - Shopping mall giant SM Prime Holdings Inc. is breaking into the indoor public market business with plans to develop a P500-million food market in Cavite as part of a strategy to look for fresh sources of income for the group.

SM Prime executive vice-president and chief financial officer Jeffrey Lim told reporters that the company is partnering with the local government to put up a full-scale public market on a two-hectare lot located in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

The project, to be called SM Place, is expected to create an expansive year-round shopping district with dozens of local growers, seafood merchants, fresh meat vendors, bakers and other businesses.

Slated for completion in the last quarter of 2011, the project will also include the development of a hypermarket or retail center to give the public more shopping pleasure.

Lim said the company wanted to give an opportunity for small vendors to sell their food without facing the steep price of a spot.

He said the public market could also showcase Cavite City’s local small-scale agriculture.

SM Prime is budgeting P11 billion this year for the construction of eight new malls located in Masinag, Cavite; San Fernando, Pampanga; Dasmariñas, Cavite; Commonwealth; Cebu; Sucat, Parañaque; and Apalit, Pampanga.

Lim said the new malls would provide the group with an additional 400,000 square meters of gross leasable area by the end of 2011.

In China, the group is allotting P9 billion to continue building new malls there and for acquisition of land for future expansion.

For 2012, Lim said SM Prime will be opening new malls in Lanang, Davao and General Santos City in south Cotabato. SM Prime ended 2010 with a total of 40 malls nationwide. Including the four SM China malls, SM Prime’s total estimated GFA stood at 5.4 million sqm by the end of December last year.

MANILA, Philippines – SM Prime Holdings Inc., the country’s biggest mall developer, is trying out a new mall model in Dasmarinas, Cavite that will incorporate a wet and dry public market in partnership with the local government.

In an interview, SM Prime executive vice president Jeffrey Lim said the new P500-million mall is already under construction on a two-hectare lot the company is leasing from the local government for 25 years extendable by another 25 years.

He said the project will benefit the local community since “we pay them rental on the property. On top of that, in a way we can improve the service and quality. We will be able to maintain the area” since public markets are usually run down.

Lim explained that the partnership is “actually an effort for both parties to try to see how we can help in terms of the development. On top of that they’ll get more tax with the way SM runs it.”

“We'll have a semi basement for vendors. Then we'll have on the ground floor, maybe an SM hypermarket with some food stands. Second floor will be for third party tenants while the top floor will be for parking,” Lim said.

He added that the mall will be a relatively small one of about 30,000 square meters in three and a half storey building and is slated for opening in the last quarter of the year.

He noted that SM will not be earning much from the public market section of the mall since they cannot charge the vendors more than the rate pegged by the local government for rent.

“It has to be aligned, the rates we have to consult with the local government,” Lim said explaining that its more of helping the local government since the revenues will not be big in comparison to the P500 million investment of SM Prime.

The Sy group’s mall development arm SM Prime Holdings Inc. will open five malls this year with a gross floor area (GLA) close to 400,000 square meters.

SM Prime CFO Jeffrey Lim said the five malls will include SM Masinag; SM San Fernando, Pampanga; SM Apalit, wherein the company bought an existing mall/property with floor area of 20,000 square meters; SM Consolacion, Cebu; and SM Dasmariñas. Meanwhile, SM’s mall in Sucat will be expanded as they will get more property in the area.

Lim added that in terms of number, SM will launch the most number of malls this year. However, in terms of GLA, SM launched the most in 2006 as it included Mall of Asia.

The Sy-led company earlier announced that they will invest more than P20 billion in capital expenditures for the year.

Recently, SM has started construction of SM Dasmariñas, SM Davao, which will have an IMAX Cinema, and SM General Santos City with a floor area of 80,000 square meters wherein the latter two will be opened by 2012.

For SM Dasmariñas, Lim said it will have a semi basement for vendors. “We’ll have ground floor, either hypermarket with some food stands (while the) second floor will be for third party tenants (and the) top floor will be parking,” he said.

Lim added that the 30,000-square meter mall with three storeys will have the public market vendors on the basement. He also said they have not decided on the name of the mall but it will be opened on the last quarter of 2011.

The P500-million public market project is a partnership between the company and the local government unit (LGU) of Dasmariñas. “It’s actually an effort for both parties to try to see how we can help in terms of the development. On top of that, they’ll get more tax with the way SM runs,” Lim said.

Lim added that SM will pay the LGU the rental of the property and will improve the service and quality we will be able to maintain the area.

The company CFO said they will look for more public market projects depending on their first public market project. “Moving forward, we’ll see other locations,” he said. Meanwhile, he said SM’s Fort Bonifacio project is going to be a big project.

CAVITE, Philippines – Cavite is undoubtedly the most populated area in the country with the more than 3.3 million people now living in the province’s four cities and 19 towns, the Provincial Population Office said over the weekend.

This developed as Senior Supt. Danilo L. Maligalig, police provincial director, said that the populous Cavite was second in terms of peace and order among the five provinces of Region 4-A or Calabarzon (Cavite,-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon) in 2010.

In a year-end report to Chief Superintendent Samuel D. Pagdilao, Police Regional 4-A director, Maligalig said that Cavite’s crime volume has remarkably decreased by 47.63 percent in 2010, based on comparative records and statistics in the last two years.

Cavite is known as a historical and industrial province and tourist destination in the country. It is a first-class province with 829 barangays (villages) and seven lowland and upland districts.

Filipina V. Samson, provincial population officer, said that based on latest records Cavite’s population is now more than 3,306,000 and “it continues to increase tremendously as years go by” with the estimated annual growth rate of 5.45 percent.

Samson said that unless something is done, the province’s population is expected to rapidly double in the next decade.

The veteran population officer said that based on statistics, Cavite’s population increased by 200,000 annually or "even more."

Samson, citing records, claimed that Dasmariñas City (4th district) is the most populated area of the province, followed by Imus (3rd district), Bacoor (2nd district) and the first district which comprises Cavite City, Noveleta, Kawit and Rosario towns.

The least populated is 7th district which is composed of Magallanes, Aguinaldo, Tagaytay City, Maragondon, Alfonso, Mendez-Nuñez. Indang, Naic and Ternate, it was learned.

Casket made of recycled papers bring alternative livelihood to Cavite GK residents

BACOOR, CAVITE, Jan. 10 (PIA) -– Some members of Gawad Kalinga (GK) realized recently an innovative way of creating alternative source of income to alleviate the financial burden experienced by families of departed member.
The costly funeral and burial expenses could only make life doubly miserable for those left behind, especially to families of minimum wage earners.
“What a crisis it is to have death in the family. Just for the casket, the cheapest you could get is around P8,000,” said Prudence Gaspar.
It is common knowledge that wakes have become a venue for gambling, especially when the family could not afford the cost of burying the dead. Thus, wakes sometimes stretches on for weeks until such time that the needed amount of money is raised, Gaspar added.
A member of GK, Gaspar and seven other couple members trained in casket-making, a job they will offer as livelihood to the families in barangay Molino, Bacoor, Cavite.
The target families used to be informal settlers occupying the area for over 20 years until awarded portions of the property under a government mortgage program and built houses in 2007 through the GK and other sponsor groups.
“Our program aims for holistic community development. But what’s important is they have jobs to fulfill the rest of the program which includes values formation that they won’t listen,” she said.
Crimes were high early on in the community, said Juanito Garcia, another GK member, adding that provision of livelihood will keep them busy and away from gambling and drinking alcohol.
Paper caskets as an alternative to wooden and even metal caskets reported a brainchild of 71-year old Lourdes Ocampo, owner of D’yaryo Bags. Ocampo started a business of bag making out of woven old newspaper more than 10 years ago.
The paper casket uses plywood as base and woven old newspapers for the sides. A special laminating chemical is applied on the paper-mache, while the inside is lined with white cloth.
Fiberglass is used for the casket’s top for viewing. The coffins color may depend on the client’s wish.
A 45 by 75 inches adult-size casket could be woven in four hours that costs twice cheaper than the regular wood casket from P2,500 to P3,000.
Ocampo gave free sessions on bag and casket-making as livelihood program to several communities and even to mental institutions and jails in the country.
However, the training on casket making conducted for GK members was the last because according to Ocampo, her daughter and son-in-law is planning to put up a business producing paper caskets.
The GK will allot P5,000 from their microfinance project to provide for the capital and a startup for a cooperative that would produce paper caskets.

San Miguel donates 33-has Cavite property

MANILA, Philippines – The real estate unit of diversifying conglomerate San Miguel Corp has donated its property in Cavite to a foundation.

In a disclosure to the stock exchange on Tuesday, San Miguel Properties Inc. said it has executed a deed of donation in favor of the Philippine Foundation of Blessed Mary Mother of the Poor.

The donated land, located in the town of Alfonso, covers 33-hectares.

“The donation is subject to the condition that the Property shall be used exclusively for religious, socio-civic, and non-profit purposes,” the disclosure said.

In a disclosure to the stock exchange on Tuesday, San Miguel Properties Inc. said it has executed a deed of donation in favor of the Philippine Foundation of Blessed Mary Mother of the Poor.

“The donation is subject to the condition that the Property shall be used exclusively for religious, socio-civic, and non-profit purposes,” the disclosure said.

The donated land, located in the town of Alfonso, is near the boarder between Cavite and the Tagaytay City.

It covers 33-hectares, bigger than another location for a healing sanctuary in Batangas province

On San Miguel's donated land, located in the town of Alfonso in Cavite, will reportedly rise a huge religious Marian image, purportedly 110-meter-high and envisioned as the biggest in the world.

The Marian image was reportedly promised to followers of healing priest Fr. Fernando Suarez, a Filipino Catholic priest living in Canada.

San Miguel chairman Eduardo "Danding" Cojuangco Jr., who is sick, and other officials of the diversifying conglomerate, including president Ramon Ang, has led an unveiling of the plans for the site last August 15, 2010, The Phlippine Star has reported.

The donated lot is part of a vast 125-hectare property of the conglomerate and was previously used for a cattle dairy operations of Magnolia, a milk subsidiary.

On the other portions of the property, a mixed-used tourism and residential development is reportedly being planned. The property is located near Tagaytay City, which has a cool weather.

The board of San Miguel approved the donation on August 15, 2010, the disclosure said.

Kung ikokompare mo iyan dito sa probisya namin tiyak na lagpas 30 ang 7 eleven na kalat.

Btw, lumipat yata ng pwesto ang ministop doon dahil talo sya ng 7 eleven na katabi at maliit ang pwesto.

Ngayon lang iyan mayroong night market dahil gigibain ang Kadiwa tsaka ang the largest night market ng dasma ay ang kadiwa..:cheers:

exactly 100 meters ang pagka-elivate ng dasma sa manila, kaya kahit malubog sa tsunami ang metro wala lang..

Ang Gus2 kong dumami sa Dasmarinas ay Mang Inasal. matakaw kasi ako. gus2 ko unlimited rice. Sana magkaroon din ng Mang Inasal sa City Proper, SM City Dasmarinas, Savemore Salitran, SM Kadiwa, Salawag, (ano kaya ipapangalan nila dun? sa mga articles nakalagay Dasmarinas mall hindi naman pwede SM Dasmarinas rin ang ipangalan parang panget naman kung SM Kadiwa). Magkakaroon na rin sa wakas sa tapat ng Walter MArt

hindi po ba walo iyan? asahan nyo baka mag karon ng 7-11 sa may caltex.. kasi yung caltex sa coastal road may 711 na e.. i think i saw 4 caltex station na may 7-11 na..

ang liit nga ng poste at ng construction dyan sa Salitran kaya sa tingin ko maliit na establishment lang ginagawa dyan. Masyadong maliit ang construction para maging kahit SM Center lang. Savemore lang talaga siguro yan.

Yung ginagawang SM sa Kadiwa I will wait pag nagbukas kung isasama ng SM sa bilang ng malls nila. Sa ngayon 40 na ang SM malls (di kasali ang Cubao, makati, Delgado). Kapag isinama sa bilang ng mall ang SM sa kadiwa magiging 5 na SM malls sa Cavite at 2 sa Dasma.sir,hindi kaya SM malls capital of the philippines outside MM, na kayo nayan....malamang susuno sa imus magkakaroon na rin ng sm ..kaso dami na ring mall,puregold,lutos at robinson,,malamang di rin po pahuhuli ang sm :):):)

palagay ko SM Center Salitran.. kasi yung molino papalitan na ata siya ng SM Center Molino e.. ewan ko lang ha.. bka new hybrid ng sm name ang gagawin.. hehehe...

Hindi sana imposible iyan kaya lang kapag nag-construct sila ng Center island at nag road widening di kaya malalang trapik ng abutin natin?

Kung gagawin nila iyan sana mabilis, dahil ang 3 KM from Walter to Salitran 3-4 months lang ginawa, tsaka pasalamat rin na kahit may ginawa ay di nag-ka-trapik.:)
