JimmiG August 13th, 2007, 02:22 AM Was just using Live Maps and looking at Austin, Texas when I saw..a commieblock? It looks like it to me. It's not that big, but I've never heard of office buildings with balconies.. Anyone care to explain? :)

VelesHomais August 13th, 2007, 02:35 AM Yes, it's a commieblock
vid August 13th, 2007, 06:30 AM It's a low form of modernism. If that was a North American commieblock, there would be more burnt out cars and teenage mothers around it.
VelesHomais August 13th, 2007, 07:22 AM Then you don't understand what a commieblock means
Somnifor August 14th, 2007, 05:22 AM Most public housing built in the US in the '60s and '70s was of commieblock style. They were cheap to build and in most cases better to live in than the victorian tenements they replaced.

This is assistant living facility. Only very old people live there. Most people in TX and USA in general live in houses or 2 stories apartment complexes made out of wood.
