I'm usually not a fan of circular towers but it looks good. But I would think Angola would want to join the race for Africa's tallest building; and this probably won't beat the Ghaddafi Tower in Dakar.

Probably not the Toure Khadafi which will be 250 metres but it might top the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg which is 223 metres and 50 floors but built in 1973.

Looks like a Taller Version of that Vodacom Building in South Africa.

I can't say that I am a big fan of the design, but this building will be great for Luanda's Skyline.

Agreed. Your talking about the Ponte City building in Hillbrow, Johannesburg which is 54 Floors and 175 metres not including the Vodacom sign.

No, the project is not approved yet but I am sure it will soon...don´t forget that the company opens an office in Luanda as seen on page 54

This tower seems to be close to 200-250m it could be a great step in Luanda, the first skyscraper maybe.

I think i will love this skyline in 2020, a god mix of small and cute towers (intercontinental/ tres torres/ ambiente/sky center) and of rare skyscrapers like torre capital or Duriense towers (btw if you have some news about it's construction)

what small cute towers? - most African skylines don´t even have them...and wil most likely never have them in our lifetime.

Well, most things get built in Angola ...in this regard Angola isn´t the typical African bush republic that one finds on the continent (= one step forward and three steps back)!

My only concern is that no towers are allowed to be built that top 30 floors, maybe this is an exception.

Nao a segredo algum caro kizaca segundo informações de alguém q trabalha no (kremlin buraco) que esta ligado ao gabinete de reconstrução esta torre já esta financiada até 70% o terreno esta adjudicado, só não começaram as obras porque a envergadura da torre não e compatível com o tamanho do terreno. Resumindo terão de partir dois prédios de 4/5 andares das redondezas mas só que a luta e mesma de sempre indemnizações que e maior que os 30% em falta

Obs : a torre tem qualquer coisa a ver com negócios com Israel e estes senhores são conhecidos por serem agarrados q nem o Durão Barroso

Estão a cobrar um dinheiro ridículo que os israelitas se recusam pagar parece que a localização e prime, acho que Sao next door to the Buckingham palace lol ..the price of indemnzation is just ridiculous that's all I know. dear friends
