Well done, KLIA has improved in all rankings,either by Skyrax or others.

aiyo...no 5 is not something to be proud lah! SKorea's Incheon and HK's built later than us....but ranked 1st or 2nd every year....

anyway...KLIA shows some improvement...only they still don't have PS3!!:lol: or any amusement for kids or teenagers....

According to the star ranking of KLIA's various facilities,KLIA lacks in terms of
-cash machines, bureau de change...based on my experience..it's kinda difficult to find them when I came back last year.
-leisure facilities----agree....in KLIA ..there's nothing to do..not even a reading area with newspapers and they keep showing religious programs on the TV!!!!
-Showers - Numbers / Location..not sure..never used.Maybe the mat sallehs/East Asians not used to Malaysia's usually wet toilets/bathrooms :lol:
-Showers - Cleanliness / Presentation

KLIA only got 2 stars for these facilities above.
KLIA only got one 5 star for cleanliness of the terminals
The other facilities got 3-4 stars.

If compared to the 5 star airports, most of teir failties scored 4 stars above with more 5 stars.
Changi only got one 3 star for language proficiency of the staff(KLIA got 4 star though for this).

I think KLIA survived to be on top 10 airports coz of impressive architecture and hi-tech facilties like ERL. Quality of services and facilities still not in par compared to other 4 star airports like Zurich,Munich and Sydney.

grew up in neighboring country (you know which one), and making constant trip back home, i appreciate KLIA's existent so much and are in awe of their spacious terminal. I dont really mind about the world's best airport banner. It might not impress tourist/visitor from countries with better/on par airports but it works wonder on visitors from (you know which one).

I can't asked for a better airport either :). Seeing that it improved its ranking by a notch is an achievement seeing how sour grapes in the past have kept calling it a white elephant and promised that Suvarnabhumi airport will surpass KLIA(:lol: ..in your dreams).

since it was based on passenger's reviews...i have read some of them which mostly say...it is too big so they feel exhausted walking from point to point...

but one of the most appreciated improvement is....100% WiFi covered...:yes:

that was based on the 2005 AETRA awards and 2006 ACI-ASQ awards (15-25 Mil. pax. category). It is also stated on their website. So, MAHB is not wrong. You can have different world's best according to different award.

If KLIA builds:

1) More shops
2) More cheap restaurants
3) Swimming pool
4) Movie theatre
5) More free internet access

It will surely become no. 1 :banana:
