Well...I got inspired to post some skyscrapers that I actually posted first at SSP :) The rules where to build a skyscraper celebrating a country's independence day..I chose my home country: Mexico...1821...so the heights of the buildings are 1821 feet tall. What do you guys think? They're not conventional (i don't think)...well, here they are. I think I might start building a skyscraper city after this. :)
oh...and they don't have a lot of detail - on average they took around 1 hour to create..sorry

This is the first tower I designed "Torre Mexico I"....it houses a hotel, condos and business offices within it's inner "tube" structure. The floor plates will house outdoor spaces (the floor plates that extend all the way from one side of the building to the other are 8 floors each)

this image got cut out for some reason (but it took forever to render, so I'll post it anyway) :)

This is "Torre Mexico II"...also at 1821 feet tall...

This is "Torre Mexico III"...once again: 1821 feet. This has a rooftop Lounge and Observation Deck (for the dancing bananas like me  )

Does the first tower have floor heights of about 30m? apart from that illusion they're pretty cool:)

hey...thanks for the reply! :) but no, the floor heights are around 12 feet (3.6m)...the big floor plates are for the outdoor space...the inner "tubes" are where the "real" floors are located. the 3rd picture shows the right side (with 3.6m floors and the left with 28m floor plates for the open space. :) (but off course, it's not really accurate - just an idea)

Point of Reference? Inspiration?

A building from H Town HSBC Hong Kong headquarters building

Looks like those designs, have the same frame of thought as this building.

^^ hey...thanks...although I have seen this building before...i am so not worthy to even be able to compare these designs I made to something from Norman Foster. I would SOOO love to pick his brain. but thanks for thinking I was inspired by the HSBC bank in Hong Kong (btw, is it also called H-Town? - I'm in Houston)
