Here we go again.....Terengganu bus system due for revamp (http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2007/8/15/nation/18594593&sec=nation)

KUALA TERENGGANU: Following the success of RapidKL and Rapid Penang, the Terengganu government will set up a new company, Rapid Terengganu, to handle bus transport in the state.

The state government will also set up a Public Transport Council to ensure an efficient public transport system for the state.
I was honestly thinking they would go to JB first...but hey, better transit is better transit.

Terengganu government should stay off 'rapid' names. It's only for true cities in Malaysia. Bus negeri terengganu is more appropriate

i've been to terengganu...kuala terengganu, kerteh and kemaman....no need the word rapid la...the town there very relax and calm and easy going.... nothing that rapid is happening.... rapid for KL, Penang, JB, maybe yes....after this rapidraub, rapidyong peng, rapidsegamat, rapid this and that...ha ha ...funny..funny..a success in other city means its implementation is working right, not just by put a rapid in terengganu will solve the problem...

but hey a person has a right to be inspired... well.... go rapidganu!!....

Like KL Sentral laa..after KL sentral showed some success, Melaka government also wanted to put the word Sentral in Melaka Sentral, although only bus and taxi service there....the logo also looks almost same. Penang Sentral deserved the Sentral name because it is built by the same company, MRCB, and also it comprises at least three mode of transportation, namely ferry, train and bus.
