First responders who were on the scene of the 9/11 attack at the Pentagon salute during a memorial ceremony last Sept 11.(Bay News 9) -- It could be said that Sept. 11, 2001 is the Pearl Harbor of our generation.

Like on Dec. 7, 1941, those who experienced 9/11 recall just where they were when they heard the news that terrorists had attacked our nation using airplanes.

Baynews9.com wants your recollection on the events of Sept. 11, especially if you had some connection with the events, such as you were living in New York City or Washington, D.C., at the time or you had a relative involved in the aftermath of the attack.

Photos sent to this e-mail address would also be welcome.

But even if you had no direct connection to the events of 9/11, we want to get your thoughts on the events of that day.

Some of your comments will be compiled into a story to run on Sept. 11, which will be the sixth anniversary of the attack.
