على العموم بالصدفة أتصفح بعض منتديات الجرافيكس وجدت مشروع لشركة الأولى بمسمى الرمز من خلال الصور يتضح أنه مشابه لنخلة جميرا و الديره و جبل علي لكن مشروع شركة الأولى أتخذت من المجسم شكل شعار الدولة السعودية

الغريب شكلهم سارقين فكرتي :D
عجيب سبحان الله توارد الأفكار كل ما اشوف نخلات دبي اقول ليش ما يسون عندنا شعار السعودية يا في جدة ولا الخبر

I was actually reading that Nakheel is planning on exporting its Palm Islands developments to international destinations. They said the islands won't exactly be "Palm Shaped" but the general idea of massive, signature off-shore reclemation projects will be followed.....Maybe this is one of them!

this is an amazing project,,the saudi emblem is perfected on the last picture,,and its probably a students project nothing more. But whoever did it,,,WOW you did a great job and i really hope they build it someday its just amazing, we need something like that! Also the lightening is very well organized on one of the images. Good Job!

I'd say anything is possible now in Saudi. They have land (Lot of land) they have money and the banks are new who will not hasitant much to give long term loans to developers. Poor Abu Dhabi had this loaning problem.

Watch that Rio Ferdinand prank on England teammates before world cup 2006, the one on peter crouch and robbie fowler. One of the servants show his boss' vision for the palm island (made-up one) but its so funny.

It just reminded me of that, this project looks to be immitating Dubai, Saudi can come up with something else spectacular I'm sure.

maybe iam right or wrong,i think it's impossible to do islands in jeddah like what other gulf countries do cuz the beach on jeddah is rocks and ~9 meters deep!one palm island in jeddah cost twice on emerits,qater and Bahrain!

according to Wikipedia the average depth of the Arabian gulf is 50m while the Red sea's average depth is 490m :nuts:

red sea depth in the middle is more than 1km and i read in books there r an active volcanos and mountain to!!! anyways we have more $$$ than whole other gulf countries so that not make any difference if they were serious about it!

If Saudis were active and creative enough they should have come with this project before Dubai. Its their national emblem would have been perfect

KSA should build something much better than Dubai.

maybe faster magnetic bullet train in the world or "Autobahn" from Madinah to Makkah.
or just build another super mega-Venice in Jeddah with Islamic design, not necessary to build tallest tower.

why not they focus to connect Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh & Jeddah, that will be more effective.

my Emirati friend told me one the only reason Dubai did the palm is the they DO NOT HAVE A LARGE BEACH front property..they ran out of it .... to get a larger beach front property they made these man made islands,,,

but not only palm islands.......nw they r building lots of islands in dubai.
