Its just a box, but still part of the Chicago skyline character.
Haven't been in it at all, but I've seen it multiple times on foot or in images.

Yes, it's a tall box and predominent on the Chicago skyline, but has nowhere near the class nor style of either the John Hancock nor Sears Buildings.

Although completed in 1973, it would've been designed in the 1960s.

I don't mind the external columns, but it could've done with a few less and wider windows instead.

I love this building. I was a big fan of the WTC so I think the Aon is great. At night it just like looking at one of the towers of the WTC . 10/10

The scale of this building alone is mindblowing.

Not the greatest design ever, but it's an integral part of Chicago's skyline, and I'm pretty sure the city just wouldn't look right without it.

why must you dis 'Married With Children' while talking about skyscrapers? MWC was one of the BEST sitcoms ever produced. Do you think the show would have run for 11 seasons if it had been a flop?

how can you not like the show. the lovely, sexy Kelly; the funny, witty Al; the pathetic, miserable Bud; the useless, worthless Peggy ... plus a group of other colorful characters. No other sitcom has come close to being able to match the appeal of the cast. Even 'Friends' looks pathetic by comparison.

Oh BTW, MWC is still being replayed 4 times a week on cable channels. how does it feel? :lol:

Visually unappealing. The only thing it has going for it (from what I've seen) is its sheer height. Plus I don't like the name.

all building must have its own architecture and design..at least a concept on it...tiz one is among the worst...box is always not a good choice for a nice building...one whole long box going up...so tall somemore...

i give it a passing mark because it is old design...built long time ago...and the interior might be better...the exterior no need to review...its bad

It's ugly from afar, but up close the cladding has a nice pattern with the windows. It's certainly very tall, but it's a box.

I enjoy it a great deal because when you stand looking up from the ground it looks a bit like im staring at the world trade center

It's a beautiful building, despite being a tall box. While I'm not a fan of most buildings from this era/design, AON Center stands out(maybe I'm biased coming from Chicago). It's a supertall, but it doesn't stand out and dominate the space like it would in most cities. Plus it has a great location right by Millennium Park and being so close to Lake Michigan.

Boring

I find the building quite elegant. When you stand next to it you lose all sense of just how tall it actually is since you are staring straight up.

I just wish they would remove that ugly antenna that they plopped up on top in 2009. Or at least make it a little more attractive.
