Yay!

I finally got a new camera. It's just a cheap Olympus (7.1mp, does .raw), but hopefully it will take better pics than the oooold 2.1mp camera I have been forced to use since my other broke some time ago.

So, I might finally start taking some pics again!

Cool Jason. My original digital camera broke about a year and a half ago but I have since gotten a new one. I love taking pics to Tampa but I don't get to do it so often.

Congrats! 7.1MP is more than sufficient for 99% of anything you would ever conceivably use it for. Its actually, quite astonishing what they are accomplishing with affordable consumer point and shoots today, great bargains. I'm guessing it is probably a SP-550 UZ it the has the capability to write in the raw uncompressed format.

Coincidentally, my new Camera arrived Tuesday from B&H; a Nikon D2Xs. It was time to retire my aging D70, and I wanted something better than my D200, so @ $2099 for the D2Xs body it just made the most sense. So, far I love it.
