Baalbek municipality launched on Saturday in cooperation with the Iranian Committee for the Reconstruction of Lebanon the first phase of a new project "the Bahaii Sheikh for the development of Baalbek." The project includes a cleaning campaign for several neiborhoods like Downtown Baalbek, the city's market and others. In addition to that it will execute 33 development plans, public gardens and environmental activities.

As long as it is aid to constuct & develop, the help is welcome. Baalback has a Shiaa majority with Sunni and Greek Catholic minorities.

Exactly! Just look the South roads, there are billboards everywhere showing different things Iran is doing to help Lebanon (10 pedestriand bridges, 600 km of roads...). but all these projects are in the cities and villages where the majority is with Hezbaolah.
and some of these billboards say: khedmat al lubnaniyyeen charaf lana, iran fi khidmat al lubnaniyyin....

I dont know why the Goverment does not make the aid go thru them..While its easier it makes others look better ..even tho they set the standards and approvals. One thing they should do is instruct the municipalities to not approve these Bilboards..while they are private they do have say. You cant just put anything up..maybe they can say "Brought to you by the goverment's of Lebanon and Iran"...if anything at all..
