This development is also on Juta Street (same street as Broadway and the soon to be constructed Bridge View). I went inside to take a peek. It is going to be rather sexy!

The Tree Sculptures on Juta Street are very nice indeed...

The view from the fourth floor...

Apartments are fully furnished, rather small but perfect for single profs! And its openplan, so it feels bigger...

One last view. This area is a hive of activity and all around buildings are being gutted and refurbished.

Yip, its part of the bridge pricint. Its very visible when you are on Mandela Bridge from Newtown to Braamfie. Other buidlings in the same area are also under renovations.

This development is aimed at students and young professionals. And that is exactly the feel you get when you walk in. The fittings are basic, relatively funky. the apartments are small, but comfortable. yet, this does miss the yuppie pad in my view. Its not really yuppie, rather more upper-income basic. It is comfortable, before being cool or hip. IMO. but I can see a lot of people being very happy here. Juta street will be super trendy soon - lots of funky apartments coming to the market here. The massive and funky Manhattan, bridge view and this one. It might be trying to be new york too much - look at all the new names in braamies!

The sad thing is that Braamfie dies at night...

The sad thing is that Braamfie dies at night...

With all these new developments i think that is set to change. Too many people living in these blocks. They will need to go out. Plus, people that live in these blocks have quite a lot of disposable income. young professionals. Out to have a good time.

watch this space...
