i just saw this on haif and i absolutely love it. if anyone can i'd like to see what it would look like in the skyline from more than one angle. if someone could do that i'd apriectiate it. (i know thats spelled wrong)

Main Place will be the name for the new Hines office development at 811 Main. The bldg. will rise 46 stories above ground and reach 630 feet tall. It will contain 1,000,000 square feet of space and be LEED certified-silver.

I really like the lobby in this rendering. Very classy...open space is what it is all about, IMO.

discovery tower is 30 floors and is leed certified. it will start i think next year but dont quote me and be completed in 2010.

What's the likelihood that Main Place, along with City Centre, will break ground within the next 6 months? I really want both towers for Downtown Houston. Houston deserves it.

H-Town is my hometown and no way in hell it can catch up with Chicago, they'd have to have something like 30 buildings under construction right now in order to be building at the same rate. lol

i havent heard anything about city centre and when it is supposed to begin. all i know about it is that its in the old shamrock site, 60+ floors, and a fewe renderings. i really want to know more.

we have a long way to go to catch up to chicago. we would need a train system that is useful first to really that. but its always good to see new construction in town.
