Friday nights at Garlands is a tough one to fill up craig, especially with Scent at Society being so popular. Hope it goes well though, thats payday week for me so i'll try and get down there.

it went really well thanks............... next one is on the 26th october. the night had a nice flow and considering a few things didnt go as smoothly as we'd hoped in planning it turned out very well and we broke even so happy days :)

Unfortunately I was a bit skint this weekend and had already got tickets to Circus @ Nation, or I would have come down to this.

What kind of music is it? Do you do that shit with the scratching and spinning the records on the "decks" n stuff?

Is this whole genre of music popular? Is it a local thing, or does it draw in people from outside the city?

I went to circus meself evertonian it was good; but not one of the great ones although i did enjoy the party selection in the main room 5-6 haha class.

Hi Blabber II the night is called 'etc' and it is at garlands. I run the night with a few other guys and i also DJ (MIX) too (but i'm not one to scratch i appreciate the music in its true form)

The music policy is pretty open its all about serious underground music that ranges from electro to prog to tech trance etc etc.... the night has a nice flow to it. The main room starts of with some cool house and it builds up to the louder harder stuff at the end but the prog n dirty stuff plays out till around 2am then techy trance from 2-4. a lot of cross genre stuff going on.

You could say it's for the more cultured clubber.

The second room is very random were you will hear breaks, old skool, electro pretty much anything besides scouse house and hard dance haha.

We had people travelling from Lincoln to see Aly and Fila so it just depends whose on i suppose.
