[sic!] wins competition "New Turkish Embassy" in Berlin
The Turkish Republic is looking for a new building for its embassy in Berlin. Therefore an open two phased competition was arranged. 143 works took part in the first phase. 14 made it into the second one. On june 7th-09th an international jury, in which the turkish embassador took part in aswell, reached a decission: 5 Prizes were awarded. In unison the project by [sic!]has been ranked on first place!

yeah, german tvs say that. They say "Turkey is building a new ministry, state, in Germany" Europeans are really paranoid and obsessed about Turks, funny...

The Turkish Embassy in Washington D.C is one of the best in the city. There should be a thread on Turkish embassies around the world.

Details don't seem very similar from this pic. But I guess the main form without architectural elements are similar..

imo you can open such a thread, finally its turkish ground somewhere in the world. But I dont belive that all embassies are in nice buldings!
