Went to Acapulco with my parents back in December 2004. It was amazing! The people were so friendly and helpful. I'd definately recommend it. It's kind of far away from all the other main tourist cities in Mexico though.

i've always heard about this resort city, but never saw any pic of it....IT IS STUNNING!!! i luv the first pic especially.

do many japanese visit acapulco? i know that they go to cancun. i heard that aeromexico started a new non-stop flight from acapulco to tokyo: mexico city/acapulco/tokyo, twice a week.

^^ Japanese tourists are not massive in Acapulco. But they are quite common in town, more often when comming in cruises. ;)

Why is the water so dark? is that seaweed?

^^ That's not seaweed. The water looks dark because of it's quite deep just a few meters from the shore, so it gets a darker color.
