SK네트웍스는 서울 여의도 5호선 여의도역 부근의 SK주유소 부지에 36층 규모의 최고급 복합빌딩 'S-Trenue' (에스트레뉴) 총 118실을 분양한다.

'S-Trenue'는 연면적 약 1만2천 평, 지하 7층 지상 36층 규모, 평형대는 48~126평형으로 총 118실을 분양할 예정이다. 지하 1층~지상 4층에는 상업시설이 들어설 예정이다.

'S-Trenue'는 강남 최고급 오피스텔인 '부띠크 모나코'를 설계한 Mass Studies의 조민석 소장이 직접 설계하였다. 조민석 소장은 베니스 비엔날레 국제건축전에 한국인 건축가의 작품으로는 처음 초청된 파주 헤이리의 딸기 테마파크 건축가이다. 건물컨셉은 번들타워(Bundle Tower)로 3개의 매스가 서로 다른 조합을 이루어 독특한 외관을 형성하며 다양한 외부공간을 마련한다. 인테리어는 대한민국 정치, 경제, 문화의 중심지인 여의도라는 사이트의 특징과 비즈니스, 사교와 휴식이 공존하는 건물의 성격을 반영하여 남성미를 강조하고, 고급사양의 마감재와 자재를 사용하여 절제미와 간결미를 강조하였다.

부지 내에는 아일랜드형 가로공원이 조성되고 대나무숲과 수공간으로 꾸며지며, 경관조명 등을 통해 특색 있는 도심휴게공간을 조성할 예정이다. 그리고 건물의 코어를 중심으로 좌우측 틈새공간을 이용하여 31개의 공중정원도 마련할 계획이다.

'S-Trenue'의 운영관리 시스템은 최고급 호텔의 운영관리 서비스 컨설팅을 통해 운영된다. 발레 파킹, 피트니스 매니저를 통한 건강관리, 사교와 모임의 공간인 '클럽하우스', 방문객을 위한 편의시설인 게스트룸의 호텔식 관리 등 최고급 서비스를 제공한다.

'S-Trenue'가 들어설 여의도는 미국 AIG그룹의 아시아 지역 본부가 옮겨올 국제금융센터가 1조 3천억 원의 예산으로 착공을 앞두고 있으며, 또한 인근 통일교 부지에는 초고층 복합빌딩 파크원이 개발 예정에 있다. 또한 김포공항과 서초동 교보빌딩 사거리를 연결하는 지하철 9호선이 2009년에 개통될 예정이다. 그러면 여의도역은 5호선과 9호선의 환승역으로 서울의 양대 중심축인 강남과 도심을 모두 20분대에 도달 할 수 있게 된다.

준공일은 2009년 9월 예정.

the korean news says that the concept of the building is a special outlook consisting of three different masses, so called 'bundle tower'... especially 31pieces of sky park(?) are installed in the niches of the bundle masses.
I feel the architect, Minsuk Cho, likes the style of building, which has green colors exposing in the niches.. He also designed 'Boutique Monaco' in the Gangnam area, Seoul. The building also has the same feature. :)

I especially love this building for several reasons. It is unique. It is not out of place and finally it is cute. I would love to see more such buildings being built in the cities of SK.

I am immensely excited to see they are making a fast progress on this one. It is a landmark tower without being gigantic. More significantly, this building opens up a whole new way of looking at architectural designs and possibilities.

It should be about time that those matchbox apartment buildings in Yoido should get demolished to make space for more highrises. I believe those apartment buildings were a result of Seoul's bad city planning serveral decades ago.

I suppose you meant Seoul couldn't help the atrocious look of its skyline. I will have to strongly disagree with your belief. Seoul can change and with some careful city plannings Seoul can definitely improve its look. I am here for that reason.

Seoul was great.. I liked the buildings in Jongno gu and Teheran ro especially. I lived in Toronto as well and didn't find it any better quality/quantity wise. And this is saying a lot -- TO is one of my fav cities for the scrapers.

Seoul should slow down and more skyscraper juice given to busan! Bring the scrapers over here, we need 'em!!

Thanks for the picture. I've seen a few other pictures that included the images of this building miles away. This one stands out in a way that it waves at you and says, come and see me. What a land mark tower!
