Now that it is no longer 145 degrees out, some friends and I are planning a Metro bar crawl! The plan is to meet early at my place for some drinks (10ish AM) then walk down the street to the Balboa Orange Line Station. From there, we’ll be making multiple stops at L.A. bars between the Balboa Station and downtown. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions/recommendations for bars that are near Metro stations. We were thinking perhaps NOHO. Definitely the Hollywood area but anywhere else? Any help would be cool. Thanks.

I say go to Broadway Bar in Downtown, just make sure you take some pix!!!

I want to do this too! Hit bars in Hollywood, Pasadena, Long Beach and Downtown. This is a good idea and would be lots of fun.

^^ I was thinking about Pasadena but that'll have to be for another trip. Perhaps my next UCLA tailgate? Now there's a tailgate for ya...from the tailgate of a Metro rail car!
