No, and I can't figure it out, either. I thought it would be easy to ID a city with such impressive mountains, and that tower. But if it contains a revolving restaurant (a reasonable assumption), it isn't a much photographed one.

Really, it is just like that, but I think that should be intriguing for you.
So, we came to conclusion that it is definitely European city, but I still don't recommand you to guess the regions, because the boundaries may be discutable. Try guessing the country.
This city is very interesting, believe me.

I told you it's bed idea to guess the regions, due to problems with definition.
Official UN geographical definition puts Italy in southern Europe. You can see it on the same wikipedia page where you have found your map. That map is strictly political. Greece in western Europe!? C'mon:weird:
Anyways, I expected to hear your opinion about Eur, and not this useless analysis.
