^^
interesting i didn't even notice it was in mandarin. The original article was long posted in a bikol lit forum, i'll try to look for it. Whether the word is bikol or not, it still is strange to be only used within city, especially that it's not found on other ethnic languages.

Another odd word in Naga is harong. Commonly termed as balay or bahay in other languages, our term harong may probably have links with the lean-to structures ("hawong") of the agtas in Zambales; or the soul boathouses for the dead in borneo called "larong". Both structures are patterned from a boat, a common thing in the austronesian tradition.

language is a very interesting field of study indeed. it reveals so much about culture, human mobility, history, even the world-view of a people.

interesting, too, how we have one word (though different accents) for PERSON and for GIVE: tao

Now I'm imagining PNR adding another line in the near future for a two-way rail system and commissioning a bunch of railcars even just for the BCT that will eventually extend down to Legazpi (and hopefully up to Matnog in Sorsogon) for an added frequency of about 10 minutes intervals per station...now that would be awesome! a local and regional train service that would also help in decongesting that heavily trafficked section of maharlikha highway. :)

As far as i know the lot where Crown building is located is owned by Mr. Abella and if i'm not mistaken Crown hotel is under contract. That is probably the reason why there is no significant rehabilitation of the building.

^^That I don't know...Is there still Zenco Footsteps? We used to buy our shoes there.. It was the only stand alone shoe store I think during the early 90s...

Zenco Footsteps is located at General Luna St. somewhere between Garmas and SouthStar drugstore. It's no longer the store that we knew since there is so much competition and innovation on footwear business.

This new coaches was already return to Manila. The Bicol Commuter Train (BCT) coaches is the old renovated train we had before. Even-though old, the transportation business is doing well so far.

I suppose this is the Bicol Commuter Train (BCT) that currently and exclusively services the Sipocot-Ligao route? I really adore how the train cars resembles that of Metro Manila's...they're really, really nice!

New coaches will be operational, specially when Legazpi railway is renovated. As far as i know, the target is until Legazpi and even Sorsogon before PNoy finished his term.
The two way rail system will take place in Bicol around 5-10 years as Mr. Beda Priela noted in our meeting before.

^^Shoppers Mall could have an underground parking area if its to be turned into a hotel.

come to think of it, I think Shopper Mall's current basement (which is currently occupied by a clothing retailer) can easily be transformed into a parking area. I just don't know if it'll be big enough for such purpose pero a slot for even just a couple of cars will definitely help. Finding a parking slot within CBD 1 is such a pain in the arse ( :) ) and I hope the city gov't can find a way to solve it.

come to think of it, I think Shopper Mall's current basement (which is currently occupied by a clothing retailer) can easily be transformed into a parking area. I just don't know if it'll be big enough for such purpose pero a slot for even just a couple of cars will definitely help. Finding a parking slot within CBD 1 is such a pain in the arse ( :) ) and I hope the city gov't can find a way to solve it.

SM's basement is soooo small. I think it can only accommodate 10 cars. Plus, the ramp will be very steep if it will really be made into a car park. No for a car park at SM's basement. :)

This new coaches was already return to Manila. The Bicol Commuter Train (BCT) coaches is the old renovated train we had before. Even-though old, the transportation business is doing well so far.

New coaches will be operational, specially when Legazpi railway is renovated. As far as i know, the target is until Legazpi and even Sorsogon before PNoy finished his term.
The two way rail system will take place in Bicol around 5-10 years as Mr. Beda Priela noted in our meeting before.

GOOD AFTERNOON TO ALL

I see....good to know, thanks :)

by the way, basing from PNoy's track record so far, i'm not so confident about that railway system being extended up to Sorsogon (nor those things I've mentioned earlier). PNoy's concern isn't focused on building and developing infrastructures, or so as it seems. But non-the-less, i'm still hopeful that things will get better under his administration, especially for Bicol :)

Lokdo nin Libmanan.

True that. Pnoy's focus is not really keen on pursuing infrastructure projects but rather take revenge on his political enemies. :)

a 10-car-parking slot for the tenants of that building? LOL! Pero I think if it'd be turned into a hotel it'd still be of advantage amongst most of its would-be-peers within CBD1 as most of them doesn't really offer any parking space for their guest, such as the Starview Hotel which doesn't have a space for parking at all. The only hotel in CBD1 I know that has an ample parking for guests is the Naga Land Hotel. It has a spacious lot at the back.

Will Shopper's Mall be turned into a hotel? :dunno:

If it will, it has to have an overhead parking like usual buildings in Manila and the NCPM, even if it'll be a two-story car park. Sayang kasi. :)

Siram! The taste of how that was prepared is too familiar for me, my mouth is already watering. :) This isn't exclusively found in Buhi no more, I believe. I may be wrong but I've read something from somewhere back then that a similar specie is now seen somewhere in Albay. Good thing it is still in Bicol :)

I'm not sure but I think the idea of it being transformed into a hotel started in this tread. But considering the viability (according to a study told from news reports :) ) of puting up one, the idea isn't too far fetch.

hmm...NCPM has a large space at the top. perhaps they can tap it and build a sky bride to connect it. yeah?

The ibalong we know today is only a fragment of the whole epic. The epic had no recorded title before, ibalon was just added later on. Some experts though are quite skeptic about it because it was recorded by a friar and because of the presence of heroes and monsters that are quite parallel with the western myths. However others say that the scope of the places and the practices are just too wide and detailed to be fabricated/copied.

The setting of the epic were mostly situated in Camarines Sur and Albay. Mts. Isarog and Asog (Iriga) specifically were mentioned together with Masaraga in Albay. Places like Pasacao, Calabanga, Libmananan (home of the mighty Handiong), Magarao , Buhi, and Panicuason (Naga), Inarihan river, Lagonoy were also mentioned in the epic.:)

Site of the Cuartel General of the Guardia Civil in Camarines. It was constructed of granite blocks and wood in 1870, shortly after the Guardia Civil succeeded the Carabinera de Seguridad Publica in 1863.

As to the completion, no idea sir Garz. The location is at the back of Puregold Mall.

The condo project is just part of the 3 hectare lot alloted for various infrastractures. The condo project will surely be a big hit due to its proximity to terminal, offices, shopping center and most of all the location offers a blissful view of Milaor town landscape at the back and the rising skyscrapers of the City in front.

dapAT ginawa nlng na 10 to 12 floors

This shows that Naga can handle 8 plus stories high buildings.

I might be wrong, here's the list of tall buildings here in Naga:
1. PNB - 6 floors
2. Starview Hotel - 6 floors
3. NCF MTV Administration Building - 7 floors?
4. Aristocrat International Hotel - 7 floors (includinf the roof garden)
5. Shoppers Mall - 6 floors

In the making:
1. STI Annex - 6-7 floors
2. Sogo Hotel - 6-7 floors (according to the soil testing company)
3. ALDP Condo - 6 floors

Looks like MRT/LRT.. Very modern indeed unlike before...

I'm glad commuters are now patronizing PNR nowadays even the Naga-Manila route is always full...

The problem is the illegal settlers living beside the rail tracks. The government must find ways to relocate them and beautify those areas...

more people, particularly tourists, would wanna ride the train for the purpose of being able to enjoy the rural scenery pero we are also well aware that with our current economic state those joyful scenery are occasionally blocked by illegal settler's shanties...a sight that will compel people to either feel sorry and irritated.

By the way, I learned from the video on the link below that barangay Trianglolo is actually owned by the PNR. So I suppose those people that I know living within the area are either IS or have bought their land from someone w/ bogus land titles? PNR property in Naga must really be so expansive.

The PNR Inaugural Bicol Express Train at arrived at Naga in June 30, 2011 around 9am. Then the engineers had to reverse the train in the trianggulo to get ready for the return trip later that day at 7pm. The whole train set was reversed being pushed and pulled by locomotive 918. As you can see in the video, the trianggulo is now occupied by illegal settlers and made it "Barangay Trianggulo". Some PNR personnel warned me about the dangers of loitering alone in that area especially at night. After the train got reversed, it was parked in the siding track to give way for the BCT then later transferred to the main track beside the platform to be ready for boarding and departure at 7pm.

We need a 10-floor buidling :D

Iyo talaga.

Sinarapan is originally from the world's most famous unknown town, Buhi. Now it is being grown in Lake Danao in Polangui, Albay

Sinarapan protected sanctuaries are located in Lakelets Manapao, Buhi.

You must be a historian and literateur. :)

Leaving plants for a while
Let us leave flowers and plants for a while. Let us talk about fish. I have been posting plants and some places for a few years, then maybe you will go along with me talking about fish! But i am sure you are not familiar with this fish. This is the smallest fish harvested for commerce. Most Filipinos don't know about this too, or have seen this, we were just a bit lucky!

'Sinarapan' or Mistichthys luzonensis is endemic in the Philippines found only in Lake Buhi, Lake Bato and Bicol River in Camarines Sur province. This province is in Luzon, the basis for its species name. Even at maturity its length only reaches about 12.3 mm. Being a delicacy it is a candidate for extinction, so care should be done to protect this species.

Digital Surface Model (DSM) Construction and Flood Hazard Simulation for Development Plans in Naga City, Philippines
Abstract
Recent development in hydrodynamic modelling requires accurate and detailed terrain model. One of the main problems is frequent changes of land use in major cities, where frequent updating of the digital terrain model (DTM) for flood modelling might be needed. This paper presents an example of assessing the impact of developments on changes in flood behaviours in Naga City, the Philippines. The elevation data is constructed through integrating various elevation data derived from many sources. The development impact assessment is implemented by detailed observation on changes in flood hazard areas.

Actually PNR was revive during Gloria's admin., If i'm not mistaken it sold a number of PNR properties to used as seed money of the PNR operation and admin. The result was a success since there was a huge volume of Metro Manila passengers daily. The profit of which was used as an expansion for Bicol railway, reviving the rail and the coaches. and plus the donation of new coaches from Japan. At present PNR is very stable, it's vision and mission is independent but align with PNoy admin. direction on good governance. Pnoy appointed Mr Ragragio (Harvard Graduate), he seldom visit the Naga regional office to monitor the progress.

a 10-car-parking slot for the tenants of that building?

Talking about Naga Land Hotel, I saw they are constructing at the back of the hotel.

more people, particularly tourists, would wanna ride the train for the purpose of being able to enjoy the rural scenery pero we are also well aware that with our current economic state those joyful scenery are occasionally blocked by illegal settler's shanties...a sight that will compel people to either feel sorry and irritated.

By the way, I learned from the video on the link below that barangay Trianglolo is actually owned by the PNR. So I suppose those people that I know living within the area are either IS or have bought their land from someone w/ bogus land titles? PNR property in Naga must really be so expansive.

There is a person or a division that handles residence along the railway. I think most residence are agreeable with the plan of PNR in the future of relocation, the problem is the location where they will be re-settle. Right now the Local govt. doesn't have any place where they can be settle, PNR had to coordinate with the National Housing Authority of relocation.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lG9G-sMr_1I

^^I believe PNR's property is huge. There is a proposed mall owned by PNR in front of the station, if I'm not mistaken.

PNR Naga as a regional base, has a 10 hectare lot, once everything is relocated. They had plans to make it like the ones in Europe. A mall in the terminal.

You can see more of this in the Curator kan Museo del Seminario Conciliar (Holy Rosary Minor Seminary) besides the Metropolitan Cathedral.

The "lokdo" or Cover is a very fascinating of our precolonial history. You can see many of this Lokdo with different design and sizes. The big jar was more incredible. Where our ancestor buried in that jar. The clay design on top of the "Lokdo" or cover depicts the person buried with it small clay artifacts. Very educational , maybe we can visit the museum nextime.

It's GMA's will to revive it.. If it had happened during PNoy's term, I don't think it would be revived that fast. The results of this revival is phenomenal as per commuter usage a day....

[QUOTE=hakz2007;87824199]Port of Pasacao

http://www.pdosoluz.com.ph/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/pasacao.jpg

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PORT

The national Port of Pasacao serves most of the seaborne cargoes bound for or from the province of Camarines Sur. Just 27 kilometers southwest of Naga City, it ordinarily caters to such goods as cement, rice, sugar, fish, and other prime commodities.

Location Latitude 13o 30’N Longitude 123o 02’E.

Port Limits

The port is located some 10 kilometers from the main highway and about 1 kilometer west of the town proper. Pasacao lies near the head of a cove bounded on the southwest by the Bondoc Peninsula and the Burias Island. It is about 30 kilometers from Naga City.

The PORT OF PASACAO is the most strategic port for business.
1. Most materials ship coming from Manila to Pasacao and to Naga, is sold much cheaper than the one coming by Van/Track/Bus from Manila. Hope that the National Government will try to improve the infra-structure and facilities.
2. Shell and Petron depot supply Bicol and part of Samar.

[FONT="Trebuchet MS"][SIZE="3"][COLOR="Navy"]Talking about Naga Land Hotel, I saw they are constructing at the back of the hotel.

It's PNB- ALDP partnership, Hope Mr. Prieto will be successful in his business, specially this year of the Dragon.

Its nice to know that NagaLand Hotel is doing some improvement :)

Downtown Naga's corner is filled with hotels. You don't need to ride and travel far looking for an accommodation. A short walk along General Luna and Elias Angeles offers the following hotels; Nagaland, Starview, Crown, NagaView, Beloved, Grand Alcove, Aristocrat and Regent Hotel.

Kung Hei Fat Choi!

St. Joseph and Hope Christian had long given me this impression to be the most preferred schools by a large number of affluent families from Naga and the neighboring towns to send their little ones. but today these 2 schools are given a run for their money with the presence of numerous very good competitors

Paghaluon mo ang duwa masiramon na maray ...

asin pag hinalo ang duwa (tabios saka sili), may pamahawan ka na.
gagaranoton ka sana :)

Siram! The taste of how that was prepared is too familiar for me, my mouth is already watering. :) This isn't exclusively found in Buhi no more, I believe. I may be wrong but I've read something from somewhere back then that a similar specie is now seen somewhere in Albay. Good thing it is still in Bicol :)

tabios patties make a good meal!

in past visits to buhi (many, many moons ago) there was this aquarium at the buhi municipal hall that had tabios in it. hope they have maintained that so guests can come see the sinarapan for themselves.

Places like Pasacao, Calabanga, Libmananan (home of the mighty Handiong), Magarao , Buhi, and Panicuason (Naga), Inarihan river, Lagonoy were also mentioned in the epic.:)

yes fragment indeed - unlike most, if not all, exisiting philippine epics. critics of the epic, in fact, question why there are no other contemporary (colonial) writers and written documents (i.e., icolonial times, esp those also written in the region) make no mention of the story of Ibalon. curiously our oral lore (which includes simple snippets passed on from one generation to the next through storytelling) also does not mention the Ibalon story nor parts of it. you're right- some characters in the epic fragment look more Western than local.

the epic fragment is written in Spanish not in Bikol (although one can say that precisely the Spanish friar who recorded it simply used his language).

i can see you're quite familiar with lit and culture, fred.:cheers::cheers:

Kalunggay - the wonder vegetable :okay:
skEW_udDJtc&feature=related

kalunggay/ malunggay/ moringa is quite nutritious- and readily available in most neighborhoods in the provinces.

good with coco cream! also in ginisang monggo and tinolang manok.

Red Platter serves good Moringa Cake :)
there's also a malunggay pancit bato.

I like Bigg's chicken a lot and most of all their goto. :).. I tasted their cordon bleu once at Goa branch I found it overcooked and didn't like it...

Bigg's chicken is really big and tasty. try the Cajun.

Very educational , maybe we can visit the museum nextime.

friends who have taken PNR since its revival have mentioned generally positive feedback. for backpackers and for those who are not in a hurry the train ride is a good not to mention very affordable alternative.

the Seminario Museum is a must-visit. it is now much-improved and has been refurbished- and now with aircon.

the jars are an attraction there. the lukdo of libmanan is displayed, well encased.

the curator is very accommodating. one can arrange group tours on sundays and holidays.

it's good to have these festivities to bring esp the young Chinoys (chinese pinoys) back to their roots.

there was no celebration like this in our days at saint jo. it was just a holiday. it was part of the joy of being a josephian- to enjoy a holiday on the lunar new year day. we shared this joy with hope christian and asian cultural high school!

Seaweeds – green fertilizer from the sea
For a few days now I’ve been observing from the road the recent presence of greenery along the point where the Aguada Creek drains down the Ragay Gulf sea.

http://balogo.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/img_0961.jpg?w=700&h=525
Daroanak Island and Ragay Gulf offering me nature's richness in the form of green seaweeds

http://balogo.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/img_0965.jpg?w=700&h=525
school of small fish swaying by the seaweeds

I then took out a small plastic and selected those submerged under the water, which later on turned out to be exactly 3 kilogram (kg). If I can use this as a material for fermented seaweed extract (FSE) then I am going to have a very good supply of nitrate, amino acid and other minerals for my farm. And its free. Otherwise you can get your protein requirements from fish meal, fish entrails or kuhol snails. Fish amino acid (FAA) or kuhol amino acid (KAA) are a vital component in making a complete organic basal fertilizer called IMO5.

Before we left my son asked me to take a photo of him with this favourite friend playing dead. That is, after running with the little creature and digging it up as it crawls hiding into a sand hole. When he finally caught it the poor fella had no choice but to play dead. He assured me it’s fine because he always returns them to the sand after they get reacquainted. All legs intact, hopefully.

The San Miguel Coastal Zone consists of the following:

All water areas and islands encompassed by the mean high water spring tide (MHWST) level of the mainland shore and a line running eastward from Grove Pt., Camarines Norte (122o18’14″E, 14o08’06″N) and southeast to Quinabusan Pt., Camarines Sur (123o20’23″E, 14o06’19″N).
All land areas from MHWST level of the shore going inland to a distance of 5 km or from the outer boundary of the adjoining watershed, whichever comes first.

The coastal zone’s inland boundaries were selected to include areas with a high population dependence on coastal areas where land activities have an immediate impact on the coastal resource. The coastal zone covers roughly 1,919 km2 consisting of 1,115 km2 of water area and 18 km2 of coastal land area. This zone encompasses portions of the seven coastal municipalities, as listed above (SMB-ICFM Plan, 1994).

General Ludovico Arejola surrenders in Camarines, March 31, 1901
General Ludovico Arejola, commander of Filipino forces in Ambos Camarines (the provinces of Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur) and Catanduanes was convinced to surrender on March 31, 1901 by 1Lt. George Curry, 11th Cavalry USV, and 2Lt. George V.H. Mosely, 9th Cavalry. [LEFT, report on Arejola's surrender in The St. Louis Republic, April 7, 1901, Page 1].

The two American officers went unescorted to Arejola's encampment at Bulawag, about 6 miles up the river from Minalabac, and negotiated his surrender.

They escorted Arejola to Nueva Caceres (now Naga City) where Arejola formally gave up to Col. Edward Moale, CO of the 15th US Infantry.

General Arejola surrendered with 30 officers (1 Colonel, 3 Lt. Colonels, 5 Majors, 21 junior officers) and 800 men. They turned in 43 rifles, 12 revolvers and hundreds of bolos (machete-like bladed weapons).

Theater named in honor of President Emilio Aguinaldo at Nueva Caceres (now Naga City), Camarines Sur. PHOTO was taken in 1901.

Arejola was appointed as Coronel de la Milicia Territorial by President Emilio Aguinaldo. He was tasked with organizing the milicias in Ambos Camarines and Catanduanes. He later rose to the rank of General.

Old Glory and Mayon Volcano in the Bicol region. Photo was taken in the early 1900s.

In January 1900, the Americans landed in Camarines Sur, not so much to end resistance in the Bicol region, but to open the hemp ports from which flowed the abaca fibers very much in demand in the American market. General Arejola engaged the Americans at Agdangan, Baao town. Afterwards he set up a camp in the mountains of Minalabac. The resistance also included an eight-woman group, called the Damas Benemeritas de la Patria, that tended to the injured and the sick, and brought clothes and provisions to the Bicolano guerillas.

Additional American troops disembarked in Calabanga, Camarines Sur, on Feb. 19, 1900.

Relentless American operations, battle casualties, rampant illness in the ranks, acute lack of firearms and ammunition, and atrocities perpetrated by US soldiers on innocent civilians weighed heavily in the decision of General Arejola to give up the fight.

Yey! :D

Where's the Manda Condo? Is it the one along Almeda?

Not as good as Manila nor Cebu condos but better than the previous design. Kudos! More condos in Naga!

mt asog is missing in the rinconada landscape :)

I miss the days when I used to stroll along the coast of Lake Buhi and climb Mt. Asog (Buhi portion). My grandparents would always take me there when they'll gonna pick vegetables, corns, namo', bungkukan and many more...

Not to forget, gabi (katnga) - the one with the red leaves which is used to cooked "tinuto".

and you will eat tinuto with lots and lots of omoy (not pronounced as spelled, of course)!

in our college days we visited this resort, Maguindara, situated along the lakeshore. it is named after a mythical water creature in Bikol mythology.

Wow Kayumanggi Resort for such a long long time, they are back. This place is not far from San Felipe.

the first among Naga's upland resorts as one goes up to Pacol.

pleasant surprise to see a renovated Kayumanggi. through the years i've associated the name with broken tiles :ohno:

i stand corrected. :)

Lots of omission but not necessarily the cartographer is lousy. Omission is more often necessary to tidy up the map. Imagine if you place all the names in the map. The areas marked as Sabang and San Jose could very well pertain to barangays of Oas and Libon in Albay. Take note that some barangays are charted in this map. You forgot to point out that even Naga was omitted.:)

2 galleons were made in pasacao back in the spanish times. Why not try the shipbuilding industry again? Our country is currently trying to position itself as one of the biggest shipbuilders in Asia.

yes fragment indeed - unlike most, if not all, exisiting philippine epics. critics of the epic, in fact, question why there are no other contemporary (colonial) writers and written documents (i.e., icolonial times, esp those also written in the region) make no mention of the story of Ibalon. curiously our oral lore (which includes simple snippets passed on from one generation to the next through storytelling) also does not mention the Ibalon story nor parts of it. you're right- some characters in the epic fragment look more Western than local.

the epic fragment is written in Spanish not in Bikol (although one can say that precisely the Spanish friar who recorded it simply used his language).
:cheers::cheers::cheers:

The epic however mentions things that are very native to bicol like planting of gabi, use of barotos, etc. Very interesting indeed for future studies.

Is the bell tower not included in the conservation project. I hope it was supervised by someone who has a background in conservation. Cement is a big no-no in restoring buildings made of different material like adobe.

Festivals started back in the 90's as part of the DOT's campaign. Some people in the academe however consider this as a form of "invented tradition." I somewhat agree with them perhaps, this is a product of our lack of identity. Tinagba has its unique charm compared to the usual commercialized parades of product-festivals that are happening in almost every corner of the country. I just hope the local government tone it down a bit and concentrate more on its real essence.

The Spanish empire royal seal quite similar of the present Spanish Royal seal. with some features of the present day SPANISH FOOTBALL CLUB.

1. The Crown on top
2. Two Pillars
3. The Lion and the Castle on the upper level of the cross section,
4. But the lower portion had change

Thanks for the information. Spanish Galleon were among the best ship of that time, as well as the Spanish sphere of influence from East to West.
Excellent idea, Ship building in Pasacao. If the president is too busy re-directing his goals for the country maybe the Governor may have a good idea, maybe invite investor from Korea or Japan.

I just like to ask if the first Franciscan missionaries arrived in Bicol or Nueva Caceres where on the shore of Pasacao?

Growing up, I always thought that Pecuaria Hills are inside Bula!

But isn't it really in Bula? I used to have acquaintances from this place who told me stories that a number of pilikula during the 90's being filmed there.

By Emily B. Bordado

When passing through the national highway en route to Albay or Camarines Sur province one could not miss the rustic, poster-like scene of cluster of hills, and vast undulating pasturelands located at Barangay Lanipga, Bula, Camarines Sur. This is but part of the over 800 hectares of what used to be the Union Agricula y Pecuaria del Sur de Luzon, popularly known as "Pecuaria", a hacienda type animal ranch owned by Don Severo A. Tuazon and co. and Mrs. Teresea Tuazon de Gonzales Lao Co. inc. which operated from 1952 till 1985. In 1988, because of external threats and internal unrest , it was submitted for Voluntary Offer to Surrender (VOS) under the CARP Law.

Wow Kayumanggi Resort for such a long long time, they are back. This place is not far from San Felipe.

I think last summer was the renovation. I'm just disappointed that the vintage WW2 jeep was no longer to be seen. If we can still recall, at the entrance of Kayumangi resort is an old WW2 jeep....a silent witness to the grim experience of Naga during those chaotic days.

If i'm not mistaken the Lawin is owned by Msgr. Nono Zanado

I think there are 3 or 4 lawin inside the cathedral patio. They should be in the wild..right? though they are not listed endangered. Disappointing :ohno:

Looking at the signage (though with its artistic approach) which reads "Che Office" apparently is for another resto.

I think the side part of the hotel is also being transformed for another resto.
