This was taken today for a photoshoot with kids from The Village Montessori. These were taken by Alec S. (one of our forumers) who was in charge of the commercial shoot.

My daughter is one of the kids that tried the 100 m zip line which was the only zip line functional this time.

Yes guys, I was able try the zip after the kids.

By the way aside from the zip line, ATV rides, Rodeo Arena, Industrial Park where guests could experience driving heavy equipments like trucks, bulldozers and tractors. This is according the the owner and developer of Haciendas de Naga.

That tower is multi- functional it would wave a four level zip line from 100, 200, 300 and 400 m choices, rappelling side, wall climbing, and a top level viewing deck that would be equipped with pay per view telescopes that would give a 360 view of Naga City, several CamSur towns, and Mt. Isarog.

Golf course and Shooting range are also available.

Still a full work in progress.

Grabe ang testing hay...Ulay ko kita ang enot na makakatesting :D

I like that Superman style but only after I do the less scary one :D.. Practice first...

The kids were not allowed to do the superman style as the landing pads are not finished yet.

They said that construction was delayed due to poor weather for that last few days.

I hope evrything would be completed for the soft opening next week.

It would be an extreme ride- heavy equipment to complement the much milder ATV ride. But what I'm excited about is the Rodeo Zone where one can experience becoming cowboys at the Adventure Land.

Adventure Land is a theme park de died on different adventure zones. Tower of Fun ( not a real name yet, something that I suggested to Boy Aman and Alec S. for the multifunctional tower.

Firing range, ATV Ride, Rodeo Zone and Golf Course.

It's a good thing that they turned Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter to a movie. Me and my daughter tremendously enjoyed that best selling book about two to three years ago.

I hope they turn Pride Prejudice and Zombies into a movie next.

Both are parody novels by Seth Graheme- Smith and both are worth waiting for.

This was taken today for a photoshoot with kids from The Village Montessori. These were taken by Alec S. (one of our forumers) who was in charge of the commercial shoot.

My daughter is one of the kids that tried the 100 m zip line which was the only zip line functional this time.

Yes guys, I was able try the zip after the kids.

Still a full work in progress.

LCC Goa, I observed is a becoming s favorite stop over for those with private or rented cars en- route to Caramoan. Last January while we we're there for my father- in law's death anniversary, several jeeps, full of Caucasians dropped by to shop.

good move, good strategy for LCC to open in Goa.

With 5 Jollibees and soon to be 5 McDonald's stores - that is not impossible.

Bobby may was right. The sign is up and the rendering looks beautiful for the new McDonald's in Magsaysay.

Just finished watching Mayor John Bongat's interview over at GNN Channell 48, here's a portion of what transpired on his interview:

1. Cultural, Buisness and Student Exchange Program between Naga City and its sister city Leandro City, San Francisco, California.

2. PPP of the BIG Dome of the South. The City is now accepting bidders to privately manage the City coliseum. The scheme is patterned after well-kown stadiums and coliseums abroad particularly in US acquired and manage by private groups, eg, the Oracle Arena, the Staples Center and recently here in the Philippines, the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The City, however, will retain the various offices at the facade of the coliseum which includes the Habitat Center, Naga City Art Gallery, DOST-DTI Pili Showroom and the Naga City Sports Office.

3. With the growing businesses within the CBD2, the City will construct a PNP sub-station within the CBD2 District.

4. Waste-to-Energy Facility. The entire project will cover 10 hectares in the brgy of San Isidro and the timeframe for the completion of the multi-billion facilities is 2-years. According to Mayor JB, there's a little problem on the transfer of settlers, however, the project shall push through as soon as the settlers are given relocation.

5. Naga River Revitalization Project. Next month will be the release of the final design as well as other prerequisites for this noble project. FYI, the City Revitalization project was lauded and given award by the Singaporean government.

Initial project in relation to the revitalization project is the construction of "pantalan" near hotels and also near the busy strip of Magsaysay.

6. Initial projects to unfold in Naga City according to Mayor JB are:

Government
1. SEC sub-regional office
2. DBP Regional Office
3. LTFRB at the back of City Hall

Also, he mentioned that American Automobile FORD will construct its service and showroom at Del Rosario, Naga City.

By the way aside from the zip line, ATV rides, Rodeo Arena, Industrial Park where guests could experience driving heavy equipments like trucks, bulldozers and tractors. This is according the the owner and developer of Haciendas de Naga.

That tower is multi- functional it would wave a four level zip line from 100, 200, 300 and 400 m choices, rappelling side, wall climbing, and a top level viewing deck that would be equipped with pay per view telescopes that would give a 360 view of Naga City, several CamSur towns, and Mt. Isarog.

Golf course and Shooting range are also available.

Still a full work in progress.

Adventure Land @ Haciendas de Naga is a thempark which is still a work of progress.

My kids and my family had been a using some of the facilties of this community for a long time since the Village Montessori had been having their annual camping at the Pili Farm of the said subdivision.

My daughter also had been a part even of their earlier TVC's which featured Nonoy Zuniga, one it's lot owners.

We're also lucky as the developers are friends (Mrs. Aman used to be a nurse in a hospital where I was having my residency training in the past) and their daughter also goes to the same school with my kids.

It was about the same time (in the '90's) when I migrated to Naga to practice and the couple returned to the Philippines and established their Enjoy Realty Corporation. Early and mid 1990'2 started the Real Estate Boom in the city when FilEstate and Ayala (Avida) had been developing huge tracts of lands (left and right lieterally)in Naga.

DMCI and Vista Land (Camella) are late comers coming to Naga only in the early 2000.

I am happy that they are opening it up to the public, including the golf course. Maybe they have seen that there is a market for adventure/sports tourism that made CamSur # 1 tourist destination in the Philippines.

demand will encourage the cocheros and calesas to come. much like the local taxis, the subdivisions and the inns\ hotels that are sprouting everywhere.

VERY LOVELY TREMEZZO , I never expect this beautiful . It remembers me of Victorian ( Enlgish) architecture, but it has a little flavor of Mediterranean architecture. Excellent life in Naga City :)

It's Camella Tremezzo. It's Vistaland's low cost arm.

But the way they developed their subdivision in Naga, it doesn't look cheap at all.

The Camella Heights Garden is better.

We passed by there yesterday, but was not able to take photos as there are lots of people for a pre- selling event.

The entrance gate is more grand an elegant.

I think Starmark is the very first homegrown coffee shop of Naga, then came Beanbag Coffee which was very attractive to students. Beanbag's prices are student friendly compared to Starmark before..but today I think nagkakaranihan na ang presyo ninda..

Aside from Oysters, are there any other specialty/signature dish being offered here?

Yesterday, we returned for a late lunch
at Papa Crispy’s- that wonderful restaurant
in Westpark that serves really good food…

It was almost 3 PM and they run out of lechon…
and told us it would still be available at 5 PM…

…we ordered some in the menu but
a little bit disappointed as they did not have
lechon anymore, but they still tasted great...

They had nothing left

It has been ages since I last saw plastic vines... and grapes!!!!!:lol::lol: Very tacky... must go. It is so easy to believe that the lechon is the best in the world if it does not stop you from going back there in spite of the decor. :cheers: But I must say, I have been to worse restaurants (Chinese) with no ambiance at all... purely functional... but serve some of the best cuisine I have ever tasted! And just like you, gastro experience supersedes our sense of aesthetics.

The chef is really good on Asian Fusion Cuisine.

Their Tampura melts in the mouth, the Tom Yum Soup hot and a little sweetish, the chicken burry is devois of coconut mels but really rich in curry and crispy vegetables and the Vegetarian Chup Suey is to die for.

The Lechon? Need I say more after raving about it in my previous posts?:lol:
