This would be the Economic Zone ( with tax incentives ), one of this is the LCC property, with the possibility of IBM-GPS out sourcing, they would demand a better infrastructure .

Sabang is a good place to develop since it is near the riverbank. Riverbanks are the best places to establish vibrant districts...

Height and speed will matter most in this anticipated championship match between NCF and UNC.
UNC has the force to reckon in the perimeter especially in the shaded area.
3 big men and shooting guards can make good plays enabling its big men to easily penetrate. However, NCF has the speed especially its point guards and power forwards which is dominant in making quick easy 2-points.
Watch out for 2 small forwards of UNC who can make trey's. NCF's big import can be lethal as he plays agressive using his burly physique.
My prediction, UNC in 3 :)
If UNC win, it will be its second championship title same with NCF. Ateneo has the most number of titles with 2 and gunning for 3-peat this year however, ruined by NCF in the semis.

There must still be so much in their emotion than in their minds when they decide on this.
Though I do not totally disagree, as Sec Jess was mainly responsible why this huge project was realized, I would have wanted a Naga City Coliseum, a fitting recognition for the people of Naga for their collective efforts to make Naga a happy place.:)

thanks for visiting us here and posting. Bikol (Bikol Naga/ Bikol Central) is closer to Hiligaynon than Cebuano.
I have the same feeling as yours when I visit Iloilo or Bacolod. A lot of Spanish terms used (eg, hasta and even the curse term 'hijo de ----") are also used in Bikol.
I had an Ilongga prof at the Ateneo de Manila many years ago and she would understand the Bikol terms I'd use in my culture papers that I submitted to her.
Keep coming back here. I haven't been to your city but I sure look forward to visiting it and enjoying the world's best talaba -- sacks and sacks of 'em :banana::banana::banana:

2012 at the PUP-Ragay Gymnasium. The Grand Forum was attended by a total number of 439
spectators consisting of students, faculty, staff and some constituents of the Municipality of
Ragay, Camarines Sur.
After the public forum, a survey was conducted to know the opinion of the PUP-Ragay
students regarding the issue. A total of 279 students/respondents participated in the survey.

That is a slap on Andaya's face who is a supporter of the bill. He was also a beneficiary of gerrymandering in the past when his district was divided between him and Dato Arroyo during GMA's term.

Sabang, Naga City, Camarines Sur, Philippines

IMO, the Sabang part is not flood prone despite its proximity to Naga river.
What is good with this project is it is now submitted to the contractor - CDAsia - and no longer in the drawing table :banana:

I think Sabang has not seen flood in recent years. LCC has never had a flood problem in its years of existence there. But just the same, designs of future development in the area should anticipate potential risks including flood. We do not want same problems now encountered in MM in the future. :)
But I did not find any reference to this project in the BCI website. Did any body find it? :nuts:

Because other than LCC, there's nothing else in the area for people to go to. One big problem that debilitates further development in the area 15 years after LLC investment there is poor accessibility -- narrow roads, a bit remote from transportation facilities and unsightly environment. The relocation of south-bound terminal there is a boast to its investment potentials. Improvement of the road networks especially the one going to Mabolo will further push development. I hope it happens soon.:)

Tama. The area needs to be spruced up. The bridge connecting LCc area to mabolo has been a good addition.

This is managed by avenue plaza hotel palan :) surely not the usual feel and look of a budget hotel.
A group of nuns I know stayed here last year for a week. They had very good reviews of the Manor :)

The Public Administration Department of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines –
Ragay Campus in collaboration with the Supreme Student Council conducted a public forum on
the H.B. No. 4820 “An Act Creating the Province of Nueva Camarines” last 6th of September
2012 at the PUP-Ragay Gymnasium. The Grand Forum was attended by a total number of 439
spectators consisting of students, faculty, staff and some constituents of the Municipality of
Ragay, Camarines Sur.
After the public forum, a survey was conducted to know the opinion of the PUP-Ragay
students regarding the issue. A total of 279 students/respondents participated in the survey.

But just the same, designs of future development in the area should anticipate potential risks including flood. We do not want same problems now encountered in MM in the future. :)

1. Bicol Tour Package to be launched in Cebu.
2. The good governor will lobby personally the re-opening of the Naga-Cebu flight.
3. Exchange of best practices of the 2 cities in line with tourism.

The office of the City Councilor Tuason is our contact however they declined to give us tickets.

the Ateneo's "Second Founder"
He was actually sent by superiors to the Ateneo de Naga in 1989 to phase the school out by stages. He was given the option which to close down first, the high school or the college. Finances were far from good; the morale quite low.
But as soon as Fr Bonoan came, he organized CorPlan 2000, a 10-year corporate plan, most of whose provisions have now been implemented. He raised salaries, initiated endowments and sent faculty to further studies in Manila and abroad on scholarship (while receiving allowances and full salaries and benefits). He rallied the alumni and launched an intensive fund-raising campaign. Many new buildings were constructed.
By 1991 the Dept of Education named the Ateneo de Naga as one of the 18 Excellent Schools in the country. In 1993 he reopened the Graduate School. In 1999, the Ateneo was conferred its University Status. Fr Boanoan died that year, a few months after the university status was awarded.

Peñafrancia in Naga River in Camarines Sur on Sept. 18, 2010. NIÑO JESUS ORBETA
As devotees praying the rosary wound up in Plaza de Covarrubias at the Shrine of the Our Lady of Peñafrancia in Naga City on Friday, Andrew Zaño, 29, slouched on the ground, dressed up as a voyador as how the menfolk participating in the procession of the Virgin Mary are called.
Zaño wore a yellow shirt and white band tied around his forehead. “Viva La Virgen (Long Live the Virgin)” was written on his attire.
The yearly traslacion, which transfers the Marian image from the shrine in Barangay (village) Peñafrancia to the larger Naga City Metropolitan Cathedral, was about to start.
For the past six years, Zaño has been serving as one of the thousands of voyadores of Ina, as most Bicol folk call the Virgin Mary.
The procession could not have been different from past ones if not for one thing, he said.
“We lost a fellow voyador in Jesse Robredo,” he said. “We miss him.”
