If you allow me an advice for you...come in 2010(at least then;)),you will see a new metro,(hopefully)a car-free city,and you can visit Pécs too:).And only god knows what else.

Not really. Let's say in Frankfurt, Germany, nobody cares at all if you have a BMW7, and if you go through the city in a higher class (Bentley, Rolls, Maserati ..), mostly only the turkish kids would take a glance at it.

I dont care in Budapest either.... especially if its a crappy render like this one :)

BMW 3 is ok, there are many of those, a long 7er is still rare though.

Mindegyik van valamennyire szerkesztve, általában +kontraszt akár kivágás, talán ez-az amaz még.
De valamelyiken szinte semmi sincs. Nyilván a FF képek nem így készültek.

Try the recently opened Rock Hospital(Sziklakórház) beneath the castle. Its not a cave,but a nuclear bunker (now a museum) featuring the bunker itself and battlefield medicine.

I wikipedia it and it was built in 1980! Should be modern?
For now, im still determining what street to stay in. Im going to stay in Hostels. Somewhere around 2000-3500 FT a night would be good for my budget :)

They are not always overlapping systems. Buses bring people to metro and trams,and trams bring people to metro...of course,alternatives exist to the metro,but it might mean 2h travelling instead of 30min...

If you have time, try Aggtelek. Aggtelek is way outside of budapest (a good 2 and a half hours Train ride to Miskolc, then a good 1 hr 15 minute train ride to Aggtelek) However if you can stay there a day, the caves are absolutely unbelievable. I would dare to say one of the most spectacular cave systems in the world is in Aggtelek...

Yes I'm Turkish, she visited tomb of Gül Baba too.

Before the trip I thought she will talk about how beautiful Prague is... but she is talking about just Budapest all the time and recommend the city to her friends. I didn't hear any single word about Vienna yet:)

AFAIK, all Ottoman relics,buildings,etc are tourists spots. There are not many muslim people around here,I havent even seen an "operational" mosque.

Actually Turks go there just visit an Ottoman icon. I have never heard anything about pilgrim, it is not a holy place, just an ordinary tomb.

And no you don't need to cover your skin(I am not sure about shoes) lol. Hungary is a christian country(well, more agnostic or athesit maybe) and Gül Baba Türbesi is a touristic icon not a holy muslim place. Btw you don't need to cover every part of your body while entering a muslim place, you guys are spending too much time with Arabs:ohno:

I dont know whats the difference between Buda and Obuda is or where it is exactly...
but there is a mountain and a train up the mountain which you can take panoramic pictures?

Óbuda is a tricky place,as it doesnt contain the castle district...its the IIIrd district:

On the other hand,the parliament is in the Vth district,and photo was taken from somewhere opposite,which should be either the IInd or the XIIth district.

I guess it was shot from Janos Hill (the highest one on the territory of the city). Either from the slopes or from a chair lift. When it's clear, the view on the city is amazing from the chair lift as it goes over the trees.
I wish I head a camera like that. That place is about 6 kilometers from the Parliament and the center but the picture is clear at all.

Ez nem a János-hegyről van, a Csalogány utcába nem tudnál így belátni se a kilátóból, se a Libegőről és nincsenek is olyan magasan. Ez a János Kórház fölött lesz valahol.

You are probably talking about the children's train. It leaves from the 2nd district in Huvosvolgy, end goes up to the last stop of the Cogwheel; however, you can get off at Janos hegy, climb the hill (or if you call a 550 meter tall hill a mountain, the mountain), and there is a beautiful lookout tower plus a chairlift definitely worth taking.

I recieved a postcard from a friend who was at Budapest and who is also Hungarian himself, it was a view of the parliament building... It looked that nice that I had to come to this thread and explore more. I must say that I am very happy to see such modern and traditional architecture on the Hungarian capital. Very nice city.

Among the hungarian teenegers the percent of consuming hungarian food is still very high. I think its more than 70-80% of them who eats junk foods and foreign foods less than 10-20x in a year.

Im also in the same situation. I have no idea when i ate junk food last time. Maybe 2 months ago?

Why they have this commercial pano in the streets of Budapest in year 2012?

They revived Punk'd again in Spring 2012.
