October 15th is the day Edmonton goes to the polls. This looks to be a quiet race, unfortunately. There is 3 seats looking to be filled though as 3 councillors retired from politics. That will be the major excitement in this election.

Ugh... this election is killing any new proposals popping up. Look forward to a quiet month in Edmonton.

There campaign signs are littered everywhere since last weekend. Its getting extremely annoying and ridiculous.

But yeah, many of the guys running are very odd. Two of them are complete write-off's in the mayor race. The only interesting races are the seats looking to be filled and none of them are in my ward.

I'm hoping for Tony Caterina to win a seat in Ward 3. Although I am unable to vote since I haven't lived in Edmonton long enough...

However, considering the lackluster mayoral race, I don't feel so bad about that.
