Wow ! I never thought that Zamboanga city is so beautiful as this. I think this is one of the most beautiful city in the Visayas and Mindanao region .Its just unfortunate that the city has a bad reputation as far as peace and order is concern.

if that bad reputation is true then why does our population keep on growing in a very high rate? If that bad reputation is true why does Zamboanga City have a lot of foreign tourist this year? If that bad reputation is true then why does Zamboanga City still the 2nd richest city in Mindanao, the 10th richest city in the Philippines and the 3rd richest city outside metro manila? And the city's high economic growth is the one responsible for the highest economic growth of region 9...
you should come in our city and see for yourself how peaceful our city is...

Yeah, the people of Luzon usually associated Zamboanga with Basilan , Jolo and Tawi tawi although everybody knows they are far from its other.Ive lived to several major cities in Vis-Min for a couple of years because of my work and for me Davao city is the most peaceful and safest major city in the Philippines.My friends and I had actually a bad experince in a major city in the Visayas which is not different from the notorious Recto district of Manila .I just hope that the city mayor of Zamboanga can do something to show people how beautiful and peaceful the city is.

A lot of people misinterpret Zamboanga for being a war zone area. But it is absolutely NOT TRUE. First timers in the city are always SHOCKED with what they see. They didn't expect how beautiful Zamboanga is. :cheers:

The Beachfront at the Picnic Grove, Amanpulo (Pamalican Island), Cuyo Islands, Palawan

The island was originally exploited as a struggling family-owned plantation. It was then purchased by Andres Soriano Jr., a successful businessman. His children then decided to build a resort on the island and leased the management responsibility to establish an exclusive resort. The island is private property and belongs in totality to 7 Seas Resort (owned by the Sorianos). It is part of the high-end resort group, Amanresorts, under the name Amanpulo.

The island is serviced by a Dornier 228-202K plane flying from Manila, which is used to ferry customers and to bring supplies to the resort. Each bungalow (casita) comes with a personal buggy for free circulation throughout the island. The atmosphere around the island is extremely tranquil and secluded.

Diving activities are available, allowing for nice coral viewing and encounters with large turtles and rays. Several windsurf boards and sails are provided at the "Windsurf hut" on the north shore. The shallow protected lagoon there allows for easy windsurfing on a flat surface, and is especially favourable during the northern monsoon season (November to May), when the wind blows onshore.

About 40% of the employees are from the neighbouring Manamoc Island.

The resort has been nominated as one of the best island resorts in the world.

wow impressive! very neat...tall buildings seem like highrises, though lack in number of floors, comparable to davao's row of buildings, minus a river without shanties:)

ay yan ang hindi ko alam. wala pa kasi akong balak magabroad. :D
pero baka depende din yun sa bansang gusto mong puntahan o di kaya yung klase ng trabaho na inaaplyan mo kung urgent ba o hindi. taon din naman ang binibilang ng mga kakilala ko dito sa cebu bago sila nakalabas ng bansa. :)
