i like the glass

6.5/10 - the facade does a good job of catching the light, and I like its color and transparency. The slim spandrels that are set out from the facade also provide a good contrast.

But...the bundled tube idea that works so well with the Sears Tower doesn't work here, probably because this 'scraper isn't high enough. It's still boxy and bulky, and that thin section sticking out seems to be an afterthought; some how it doesn't flow from the rest of the bulding...

Actually one of the better high buildings of Tokyo. But the design is way too messy and chaotic for a good mark. Facade color is good, and very recognizable in that area. But too bulky for a good scraper.

Nicley conservative yet wanting to be adventurous. Some of the features are nicely done. I really think for first pic post is classy - makes it look very high-tech.

It is standing prominent in its particular location.

A cool 8.

BTW The overall form reminds me of the KENS project (along with a mini Sears), now under construction in Sydney. A computer rendering just for comparison:

It looks like they've cut off the Sears Tower. It's a cool building, but it would look better if it was taller.

Nice tower

Pleasant all-glass feel, makes you convinced that 'surely the roof will also be made of glass'....and IMO the Sears-approach functions well in this tower.

i love this tower, it looks great in the flesh and is really classy at night with different colours for each of the mini-towers.

a good addition to the roppongi skyline methinks. i have a few more photos of it in a more flattering light!

it would look miles better if it was 750 plus feet however.

I like it but it needs more height to be very apealing and stand out amongst the crowd of buildings around it and it just seems a little average being the way it is in that city. 6.5/10

bit too bulky for my liking but i like the cladding.
