Anyone hear about the (formerly) homeless man who was reunited with his lost dog?

That's heartwarming news... and I have to give the citizens of Chicago credit. I don't know how many other cities would be so willing to help someone in his situation.

As a dog lover (and owner), this story makes me proud to live in Chicago.

Hell yeah, thats great news. It was very cool to see loop workers going out of their way to help him find his dog.

It's a cute story, but it's worth keeping in mind that Chicago still kills more than its share of stray animals. There's been improvement in the last few years but we're still way, way behind. Unfortunately, some pet owners have a very limited amount of time to find their pet before it's euthanized.
