I think this is a very nice feelgood positive article (http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-news/local-news/2007/09/26/hundreds-of-hindus-gather-on-the-mersey-for-religious-ceremony-100252-19847577/):applause:
The Hindus have discovered something we've realised for generations:)

"The Mersey is worshipped by British Hindus as their own Holy River Ganges, said Dr Shiv Pande, secretary of the Indo British Association"

As a place to live, work and simply enjoy life, Liverpool has it all.

A new dynamic Liverpool is emerging; spurred on by the success of securing the European Capital of Culture title for 2008 the city is more dynamic than ever. For the people and businesses in and around the city the future has never been brighter - prospects for employment, investment and enjoyment are at an all time high.

The old negative cliches of Liverpool no longer apply. We have businesses across all industry sectors that are competing on a world stage, we have cultural diversions as good as anywhere, the housing market is bouyant, the retail centre is again punching its weight and the nightlife is second to none.

It is with great pleasure and pride therefore, that we invite you to take a few minutes to discover the new Liverpool - a vibrant city, ripe with opportunity.

etc ..... People feel at home in Liverpool.
