There aren't any plans for that at the moment. Lines 1 and 2 of the Beijing subway go through the CBD. big-dog September 13th, 2007, 12:49 PM I hope it'll be better after Line 10 (June 2008) and line 5 (Sep 2007) are completed. Any new pcitures? Jim856796 September 14th, 2007, 01:21 PM What this thread needs is more skyscrapers listed. there are many questions that need to be answered on this thread: Are there any more skyscrapers in the CBD? Does Beijing have any more business/financial districts? One more thing: A map of the CBD is coming soon. Jim856796 September 16th, 2007, 12:27 AM Here is a map of the Beijing CBD. http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/7286/beijingcbdfg5.gif big-dog October 1st, 2007, 05:56 AM 9.29 欢迎补充。 http://www.beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/20079291529972391.jpg http://www.beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/200792915293178356.jpg http://www.beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/200792915251071137.jpg http://www.beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/200792915283968595.jpg http://www.beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/200792915294957718.jpg http://www.beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/200792915303686421.jpg http://www.beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/200792915312699995.jpg big-dog October 1st, 2007, 06:26 AM http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/20079282273553208.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/2007928228331552.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/20079282282875664.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/20079282292124765.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/20079282213646308.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/200792822133276927.jpg big-dog October 1st, 2007, 06:28 AM http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/200792422542930349.jpg big-dog October 1st, 2007, 11:57 AM http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/20071011347752722.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710113493762283.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710113511165535.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710113521779010.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/20071011465030734.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/20071011481285332.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/20071011495697960.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710114112943759.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710114124613427.jpg big-dog October 1st, 2007, 12:01 PM http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/20079182131652855.jpg http://www.beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/200792020362949444.jpg http://www.beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/200792020373890120.jpg http://www.beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-9/200792020495086377.jpg big-dog October 1st, 2007, 12:02 PM http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-7/20077212354848473.jpg Pangu October 1st, 2007, 09:47 PM Nice photos :) Beijing's skyscrapers tend to be more... "normal". It lacks the more "unique" designs as seen in Shanghai. But then again, being the capital, Beijing has its own style too. YelloPerilo October 2nd, 2007, 12:34 AM I prefere the "normal" design. YohIMhER October 2nd, 2007, 01:50 AM looks great, is there any condo near CBD tho? i hope it wont turn up to be like downtown LA- a ghost town. drunkenmunkey888 October 2nd, 2007, 04:41 PM Yes, Beijing's buildings are very aesthetically pleasing, more so than any other city in mainland, or even Taiwan for that matter. Just wondering, do foreign architects design them or chinese architects? And why don't every other Chinese city design buildings like such? SEED October 4th, 2007, 02:15 PM nice pics! this is the first time i see pics of the modern part of 北京! bout the architecture and design.. its very order and class compare to other chinese city.. big-dog October 8th, 2007, 09:20 AM from beijingupdates.com Jianguo Lu http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710716111973676.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710716124057327.jpg Huamao Area http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710716132532702.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710716142928760.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710716161561131.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710716172253754.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/20071071618375519.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710716191414148.jpg The new JW marriot http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710716212091630.jpg http://beijingupdates.com/forum/UploadFile/2007-10/200710716254360958.jpg duskdawn October 18th, 2007, 03:21 PM Awesome, simply world class. Andrew October 20th, 2007, 02:44 AM Nice photos :) Beijing's skyscrapers tend to be more... "normal". It lacks the more "unique" designs as seen in Shanghai. But then again, being the capital, Beijing has its own style too. What I like about Beijing is that while most buildings are normal, every now and then you come across a really interesting design. The relative normality of the surroundings will make buildings like CCTV that much more striking. I think some cities have too many quirky designs, and without the backdrop of a normal cityscape they cannot be appreciated as unique because they no longer stand out. big-dog October 21st, 2007, 05:50 PM from beijingupdates.com http://pic.carnoc.com/pic/20071019/200710190934078510.jpg http://pic.carnoc.com/pic/20071019/200710191108135586.jpg http://pic.carnoc.com/pic/20071019/200710190944152970.jpg http://pic.carnoc.com/pic/20071019/200710191106072269.jpg http://pic.carnoc.com/pic/20071019/200710190959556429.jpg oliver999 October 22nd, 2007, 03:50 PM beijing , you are great!!!
