Brands like Benetton and Diesel the obvious targets for the IRI after attacking barbers and individuals wearing 'trendy' cloths...

Saying that Iranian MP's have tried some strange things in the past and failed so we will have to just wait and see..

It's just a stupid store, and one which most Iranians cannot afford to shop from anyway. It affects so little (and such a soosooli) part of the population that why should anyone care?

Because no matter how "soosool" it is (based on your judgment, anyway), everyone should have the freedom to do wear what they wish. It's so funny that you justify any and all policies of this regime, which you obviously are 100% in tune with. If it affects such a "little (and such a soosooli) part of the population" as you claim, the gov't should not care about it, then.

How funny that wearing modern clothes is sosooli but wearing clothes that looklike what people wore 1,500 years ago is just fine. Get over it man. Times change and so do people''s views.

I agree. Although I think they're reasoning for shutting it down is stupid. But who cares Benettons sucks anyways.

I think the main point here isn't whether Benetton "sucks" or not! I personally don't like Benetton, but they are one of the few foreign companies that do business in Iran. The government of Iran prefers nothing more than to close the doors of the country to all outside contact. It's the today Benetton, tommorow... issue.
