Their billboards are all over Karachi.

It doesn't say how much the membership is. And one of their billboards said that it's next to the airport! That's really got me confused coz it's at Karsaz.

But there is no Airforce Base at or near Karsaz. Thats PNS(es). PNS Jauhar and PNS Karsaz.

Yes it is the Navy one. And there's an airbase across the road. But yes, not near it.

I think I'll have to solve the whole mystery tomorrow. This, definitely, is the re-branded and upgraded Karsaz golf club for sure. But I might have to find out what that Near Airport thing is.

Surprisingly enough, they have all these billboards and banners RIGHT outside the golf course at Karsaz!

I guess it could be Malir River instead of Malir.. and the Express Way could be Shaheed-e-Milat Expressway ...

i remember sometime ago they were constructing the road that was to connect the road leading to malir cantt from the airport (sharae faisal) to university road. that road was also supposed to go onwards to super highway so maybe this golf club is somewhere around that road

yea.. just had a chat with my cousin in KHI he lives in malir and was telling about this project.. he says its like 2 years for this project to be completed.. golf course and a hotel i suppose....??

That doesnt make any difference.... I can name many of golf courses located beside an airport...

Han Its rather unusual from security point of view, as Karachi's largest Ordinance store is just few hundred meters from this location, can be easily seen in the right of the picture above, the large grave type sand-coloured structures...

Yes, this golf course/club is progressing. They've constructed some of the buildings. Its right next to the new Air Force Falcon housing complex. Should increase the value of properties in that complex significantly once its complete.

Most members here will be from the military, in all probability. You've got the Army's housing society, Askari also located nearby in addition to the huge army base Malir Cantt.
