1.) Who's going to buy them if 99% of Mercedes in Albania are stolen?

2.) No one will pay 50-70 thousand euros for a car that can be bought for 2-3 thousand euros.

Well it is true that a lot of cars in Albania are stolen but not all of the Mercedes. Most of my friends have bought their Mercedes from the Mercedes dealership in Tirana or from Italy with regular papers because many Albanians like to travel for example Budva etc.
If you want to buy a stolen car in Albania then you will have to drive it only in Albania. And even the stolen cars are over 8-10 thousand dollars

I was shooting a video last month around Tirana for fun with my friends, and while we are walking we see like 10 cars parked in a row in one side of the street all luxurious Audi A8, BMW 7 series, Mercedes SLR and on the other side it was all Q7, Porsche Cayen, X5's. ill try to see if i can get that video from the cassette in the net.

Why everybody is so jealous for the Albania.At least we gonna build MERCEDES , not crappy DACIA or UNIVERSE or SKODA or GAZ or VOLGA and all the junk cars .
Even the GERMANY choose ALBANIA instead of any other country because we buy the most MERCEDES cars .

It's bullshit. First of all there's no official word, and second it's illogical considering that it's easier and cheaper for Mercedes to open factories in Bulgaria or Romania (i.e. tax deductions because of their EU member status, or better infrastructure) to cater the region.

well it's true for cars now. still about 50 percent of cars on the road dont have papers. the cops were real serious about this last time I was there. they caught me and some friends and the driver didn't have papers. he bought the car legit but he wasn't carrying the papers with him. they took his car and threw us in jail for a couple of hours. everything was cleared up in the end though.
