Hi Guys,

Well it's taken some time to get around to posting, but here are some of the photos that I took in the last week that I was in HK before moving back to London. This set is all taken from the roof of IFC II, one advantage of working in the building I guess! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the shots, I'll be posting more of HK and the other places I visited around Asia during my three years there asap. Cheers, Jason.

The last shot is Happy Valley, the building I lived in was the slim salmon colored building to the right of the picture with a view over the race course. I miss that place!

HK looks awsome, I really hope to get there in the next few years; there really is almost nowhere else like it in Asia, or the rest of the world for that matter.

You`re right about the entertainment building. I`ve always thought it was pretty special. At night it`s lighting is quite subtle, yet suits it quite well. Very nice pix.

The white building with the big ball on top in Sheung Wan would also be a nice building if it had a converging spire like Central Plaza or Entertainment Building instead of a stupid bubble..

Is the building in Sheung Wan a government building now? The views from the `bubble` must be incredible. Anyone know what`s up there?

Wow, nice pics thanks for posting. Hong Kong looks so green from up there with the vast amount of trees covering the steep hills.
Are there ever any problems with landslides?

Landslide prone areas are cemented off to prevent landslides.

Yes, there are problems with landslides. But most slopes are reinforced with concrete covers.

Ok thanks for the info. The thread about landslide maintenance is really interesting. Some of the photos are really good aswell :)

Back on topic. I'd love to live in Highcliff apartments especially at the top. The view would be amazing.

Yea, read somewhere its closed off to the public because the Chinese officials are inside, or something. Hkskyline can probably shed more light on that...

It's zoomed in - IFC itself is quite 'far' from Central.

Thanks for the comments guys, I really loved my time there and think of it often. I'd recommend Honkers to anyone as a place to visit or work, truly one of the worlds most amazing modern cities!

AIG Tower is in the photo, so it is not zoomed.
I know Central and Happy Valley are quite far from each other; but from that angle, it looks like the two places are in proximity.
