Wow some great old buildings, like the art deco buildings. Dallas and Houston have demolished a lot of their historic buildings glad to see Fort Worth hasn't! nearly as historic as San Antonio!

Burnett Park, 500 West 7th, the Electric Building, and the Neil P. 500 West 7th is, of all things, a "sequel" to Lever House in New York City. It was designed in 1961 by the same architects, SOM, and uses the same basic shape as Lever House, but in contrast expresses its concrete structure and features a set-back glass curtain wall. Most people don't know that SOM did a follow-up to one of their most famous buildings in Fort Worth.

The Texas & Pacific Lofts rise behind the Mountain in the Water Gardens. The T&P is a gorgeous Art Deco train station from the early '30s that has been brought back to life. Its upper floors are now loft condos, and the beautifully restored lobby serves as a station for the Trinity Railway Express commuter train.

Downtown looks very nice from the street level, but when you look at a picture or view it from a distance, the skyline is unimpressive. I just wish it could look as good in the sky as it does on the ground.

At first I thought that you had gotten some of the dates wrong on the buildings the Sanguinet Building/Bank One building is amazing as is The Nancy Lee & Perry R. Bass Performance Hall, a lot of detail that you dont get anymore. The Sundance Theater and the Barnes & Noble are great Art Deco buildings, I dont even want to use the word replica as they have everything that Art deco has. I'm glad to see the thought that was put into all these buildings when designing them, it has paid off so well.
