Great pictures, thanks a lot for sharing. I didn't expect Perth to have such kind of architecture. :)

The thing about Perth is that it's in Scotland, but it's also in Australia; how does it do that? That's a pretty neat trick!

Great shots CT, but I don't think that it looks miserable. Must be your excellent photographic skills.

Perth seems a bit American; less pedestrian-friendly. Maybe I'm wrong.

I used to live in Perth 3 years ago. Its a nice looking city but i have to say that its the 2nd most boring city in oz, the 1st being Adalaide.

It brings back some funny memories looking at the place again thanks for posting

In your opinion how does Auckland compare to Perth? They are both similar in population.

population doesnt really mean anything in this case.

Auckland has a more lived in feel, perth looks like plastic if that makes sence lol it didnt have any atmosphere

I prefer auckland to perth but that doesnt really mean anything as i prefer darwin to perth lol

auckland gets the thumbs up though :)

Thanks.....I am going to Auckland in February and was wondering how it compared to Perth. Does Auckland have a bigger city feel to it? I still have yet to go to Perth as well. lol Darwin to Perth, I take it you had a bad time there?

^^ i have some family in perth it wasnt the best of times lol but friendships. and family relations aside i found the place boring (sorry to offend anyone from perth)

Auckland doesnt have the same feel as brisbane to it but then again i dont know brisbane that well i only lived there a month lol you may think auckland looks nice in pictures (mine in particular lol) but its a lot more rough around the edges in real life.

A lot of people say Auckland doesnt have a big city feel but i suppose its where you are from that matters, im from sheffield, england, its a big city but it doesnt have any skyscrapers so if you saw pictures of it youd think it was a town or something lol

Thanks, just wondering as I will be going there soon. I apologize as well for getting the thread off topic. IMO Perth is one of my favourite skylines.

^^ here's a link to some pictures of sheffield, you have to scroll down to see them as the 1st set of pics dont load. Its a big city but probably doesnt look like it if your used to skyscrapers

As to Perth, I've heard that the nature in the surroundings of the city is beautiful.
