Quebec City lies on the Saint Lawrence River, roughly three hours east of Montreal. The city is the second-oldest existing European settlement in Canada. This historic city is divided in two by steep bluffs into Upper Town—which includes the old quarter—and Lower Town. Perched atop Cap-Diamant, the old quarter is the only walled city in North America and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Citadel, Chateau Frontenac, Plains of Abraham and the Quebec Parliament are all attractions located in Upper Town, sharing the space with a variety of standout shops and markets. The Naval Museum of Quebec and the Old Port of Québec are found in Lower Town, as well as Place-Royal, the site of the first permanent settlement in New France. Quebec City is also famous for the Quebec Winter Carnival, which showcases world-class ice sculpture and more during its annual snowy celebration

Quebec City, Canada this past Spring. Kind of eerie how this idyllic French town can look like a Christmas village huh?

I loved these pictures

It feels like it is very old and full of history

it feels like Christmas

but disliked this one:

because it feels gray, decadent and polluted.

overall, it feels like a small or medium European city.

Charming city that never seems to grow, kind of like Savannah or Charleston. I am freezing just looking at the photos.

What kind of filter was applied to the photos?

Beautiful pictures, was there last summer and it rocked. I loved the polar bears in the zoo and the waterpark, as well as the ferry ride to the falls. Thanks man, keep the photos coming. Everywhere you turn in QC there's a scenic row of houses and shops, with wonderful cafes and some great fortification. Kind of like Cartagena but on a hilltop.
