good lah.Bank Muamalat seriously need a new HQ building because the current one so not good looking.anyway,is this area our new financial district since so many banking group's HQ located here.

Are they demolishing the old building or they are just renovating it?

Cause from the renderings and the satellite pic, it is on the same spot as the current building :yes:

Maybe it's a renovation and reclad just like what Wisma Lee Rubber had?

That area seems has a lot of proposed reclad works on its buildings....hopefully the current CIMB building could follow suit...

Bank Muamalat To Undertake Restructuring Exercise

MACHANG, June 28 (Bernama) -- Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd (BMMB) will undertake a restructuring exercise in an effort to improve its services.

Acting chief executive officer/chief operating officer, Syed Abdull Aziz Jailani Syed Kechik, said one of steps involved relocating the branches to strategic sites to improve the services. :D

"At present, there are offices in non-strategic areas which have inconvenienced the consumers," he told Bernama at the 'Majlis Masih Ada Yang Sayang' here, Saturday.

Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat officiated at the function.

Syed Abdull Aziz Jailani said the bank planned to open more branches in strategic locations in key towns in an effort to offer a wide range of services.

I like it too!!!Its about timelah, Its not the most people friendly building!Its such a hassle to climb the stairs, parking is another problem in that area,with LRT just around the corner ,I think this new preposed look will be good for their customers!By the way what the hack is "MUAMALAT"???
