That street lamp really wants to turn on in the first shot of the first movie... but it just can't quite do it.

Here's Hollywood boulevard in 1990. You'll see things that are still there, like the Chinese theater and the walk of fame, and things that are not there any longer, like the "Legends of Hollywood" mural on Hollywood and Schraeder which was destroyed in the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
