Yes every so often when I have some free time I get together with my dad and we spend the day checking out Los Angeles. It's sad that my dad grew up in Los Angeles, and never even been to the Observatory.

Anyway we first took the train downtown, and attended a concert at California Plaza, and from there took the bus to Griffith Park, and then a shutte over to the Observatory.

Great tour. I love all the shots from the Observatory; the view of the city from there is jaw-dropping. I really enjoyed those shots of Union Station as well. It really is beautiful.

Who knew there was so much vibrancy in Los Angeles? We did.
