Thanks, it'll be interesting to follow.
Twoaday October 20th, 2007, 11:19 PM Yea I'm trying to keep up with a bunch of projects... it's fun to see as things slowly evolve. The North End is really interesting as it slowly comes down.
Paule December 12th, 2007, 06:36 AM Twoaday, have you been updating the progress? I looked on your flick page and it doesn't seem like you have added anything new for a while.
Twoaday December 14th, 2007, 09:52 PM Sorry it has been cold out! But I'll try and get done today or this weekend.
UPDATE Ok it might be a couple more days due to snow!
Twoaday December 17th, 2007, 02:55 AM Ok i got out a took a couple photos today of the edge (as well as a few other projects). Looks like things are moving but slowly at the edge though it has been my experience that foundation work takes awhile and then things get really moving

araman0 December 17th, 2007, 03:58 AM Especially with the ground being frozen and all the snow. Not a good time to be starting foundation work. This scene might not change much until Spring.
Paule December 17th, 2007, 11:10 AM Thanks Twoaday!
Yeah, the place looks deserted.
Twoaday December 17th, 2007, 08:28 PM Well I did take the picture on Sunday. Actually I believe all these project will continue working even through the snow as the Breakwater and the Staybridge haven't stopped
Twoaday January 14th, 2008, 11:04 PM Well it looks like the Edge is above ground now

Unionstation13 January 15th, 2008, 01:20 AM it looks like something out of the 1970's.

TampaMike March 31st, 2008, 03:40 AM It's really awesome to see how you guys still build during all the snow, something we don't need to worry about here in Florida.
I like the project, but it seems that they could had added a couple more floors to it, 6 justs seems too little for that sight, espicially being near the river with a great view.
Twoaday March 31st, 2008, 07:21 AM It was originally planned to be taller but the neighborhood on the top of the hill fought them over the height.
TampaMike April 1st, 2008, 12:55 AM What a shame.
Jesse276 April 1st, 2008, 04:20 AM Considering the plans for the area envisioned it to be a relatively (2-3 stories) low rise area, the building is high enough. It doesn't overwhelm the neighboring buildings along commerce street and it won't ruin the views from the park above.
Another plus is that it won't eat up all the demand for units in the area, ensuring we will see more buildings going up soon. Perhaps we'll be seeing this going up this summer - http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=475816

Twoaday May 6th, 2008, 03:20 AM Yea the building referenced in that article is across from Union Point.

It's interesting to see how each of these projects have completely different building methods. :D

honest86 February 12th, 2009, 04:12 AM Does anyone know if the second phase of The Edge is still being planned?
EastSider February 15th, 2009, 06:11 PM Does anyone know if the second phase of The Edge is still being planned?
I was wondering the same thing.
Twoaday March 16th, 2009, 08:39 PM Sorry I haven't been able to get an answer on the second phase yet... I've got to think that will be delayed.

Paule February 2nd, 2010, 07:03 AM Is this project finished yet?
Twoaday February 2nd, 2010, 09:13 AM @Paule Oh yeah, people are living there now... They only built one of the two buildings, wise move, but yeah it has been done for awhile.
Paule February 2nd, 2010, 11:39 PM @Paule Oh yeah, people are living there now... They only built one of the two buildings, wise move, but yeah it has been done for awhile.
Ok, yeah I knew the building they were working on was done I was wondering about the other one. So they scraped the other building? I guess one being built is better than none being built. Thanks Two
Twoaday February 2nd, 2010, 11:42 PM Yeah. They didn't have the pre-sales to break ground on the second one. Considering the economy and all that was probably the best solution. Hopefully, when things improve they'll be able to do the second building.
honest86 February 3rd, 2010, 03:51 AM Phase one is done... and as for phase 2, after seeing how the first phase actually turned out I am hoping they come up with a new idea for phase 2. I think they could do a better building than what they already have.
