LONG BEACH, Oct. 20, 2007 (KABC-TV) - An explosion in Long Beach triggered evacuations in nearby buildings.

Police say a pipe bomb exploded in a parking garage Saturday night on Pine Avenue and Ocean Boulevard.

Customers in a nearby restaurant and brewery were told to leave. A Metro station a block away was also closed.

There are no reports of injuries or damage from the blast. So far no arrests have been made.

Wow thats scary, I know exactly what building that is. It is the Wells Fargo Building, and there is also a Rock Bottom Brewery in the complex. This is also close to my condo. I'm at work tonight, and my heart skipped a beat when I first saw this title because I have family at home. Anyway I was at the bank in this building earlier Saturday afternoon, thankfully nothing happen when I was there as I had parked in that garage.
