Breaking News Malibu is on fire!!!! The winds are not helping at all which is making the fire expand quickly. Hopefully they can contain it before it reaches the University!!!!

:( This has been a terrible week for the county...

It looks like the fire cannot be contain at all. Especially with the high winds pushing ashes and keeping the fire moving quickly. Some Million Dollar homes on the coast also started to burn, that's a bit far from where the fire began. I wonder how many celebrities are ready to fled their homes???

So far the horses can be taking to the shelter @ L.A. Pierce College in the Valley....

wind gust of 112 mph reported in Laguna peak, as well as 108 at mount washington. Its suppose to get worse tomorrow.

the probably have a dozen other mansions and beach houses in some other parts of town. They'll just pack up all their bling into their Porsches and Ferraris and drive on over there

according to the WTC, Playa del Rey/Westchester/El Segundo/ LAX area is the hottest place in southern CA. it is 80* here at midnight!!! i wish it could be like this without the fires. that would be a dream. the only place hotter in the country is key west at 83*.

why do there have to be fires AND good weather. it kind of makes me want to keep fires except for the fact that homes are being destroyed.

The weather is great, I can finally leave home without a parka at night. To bad the smog is out of this world though and the air quality is worse than ever. :( The trade offs we must endure.

I can't believe they're back again. It was kinda scary to be able to see the smoke rising from over the SM Mnts. My mom told me the news said they think it's arson.

^^^ I have a feeling that it's arson as well... the fact that it was a little windy yesterday combined with the timing from the last fire is just too obvious. Somebody out there is trying to be a smartass...

Also, supposedly 33 homes got burned. :-/
