5. Although there have been a number of regeneration projects in the area, the contrast between the new and the old is quite great. Here, you'll see the new glassy towers and the rowhouses seem typical of a decent London neighborhood.

FYP. ;) If anything the old building is a good marker of the kind of development that should occur alongside it. the city and spitalfields make for a good contrast, but i don't think the former should encroach into, and start destroying, the latter.

Great pictures as usual. You're right, the blending of old and new worked out nicely. The old buildings look nice, as expected, and the new buildings look surprisingly tasteful.
